I refer to her as "The Indelible Francesca Bianchi." She is an original and her perfumes reflect that and do so beautifully and without apology. I love that. I am also glad you mention SATS "Neroli," which I love. My dad used 4711 and I hated it. Anything that reminds me of that, such as TF's Neroli Portofino just smells like nails on a chalkboard. But SATS Neroli shines so bright and with such originality, it's knee-buckling. GREAT VID, as usual! Love The Dark Side and Under My Skin too.

I just purchased Tyger Tyger after getting a sample at LuckyScent. It wouldn’t be my typical “signature” fragrance. It’s a peach-y soapy scent, and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. I’m addicted!!

After a lot of research I blind bought the Dark Side. Best decision ever! I have since bought Under my skin and Sex and the Sea Neroli based on sampling but still... the Dark Side seems to suit me! On me it’s a beautiful leathery buttery iris and I just...🖤 I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need sex and the sea as well. We’ll have to see how that conversation goes 🙈😉

It was between sticky fingers today or the new kilian liqueur collection 2021 apple brandy on the rocks and I had to go with sticky fingers as I’m a beast mode strong long lasting scent kind of person and unfortunately what I’ve read on kilian is they create beautiful scents but unfortunately they lack in strength and longevity and for this reason I have yet to own one kilian in my collection what do you think

I love Francesca Bianchi fragrances! My faves are The Black Knight, Lost In Heaven, Under My Skin, The Dark Side and Sticky Fingers. I think everyone should check out her fragrances, bc even if they aren’t your taste, they are very well done.

I just got Sex and the Sea recently and wow....words fail me. This perfume is like nothing I have ever smelled. Its powerful, but the combination of accords is amazing. "adventurous" is a good word. I love the pineapple and anti-beachy notes in this (hard to explain). I almost got the neroli one but I am told its high in coconut, not sure if its for me. I got a great price on this and its well worth having this one. Not for everybody for sure.

@@andrewbrown4753 No, I think you should try to get a decant first. Its very unusual and the animalics and the "dusty" pineapple are so different. I have always enjoyed strong bold unique compositions but I know not everyone does.

Hi Seb, I caught here. I have all the profiles of these fragrances. For Dark side- I have Hayari Paris Only for him, for Sex and the Sea I have Carner Barcelona Costarela, I generally do nor like honey, but bought Man made sweet tobacco for tobacco. May be I will search for other videos on this.

Got a sample set a few months ago...still haven't purchased a full bottle...still haven't decided...but I must admit the originality and lasting power... ridiculously strong and original.Only for experienced noses,and fragrances to be worn for yourself...most of them are not crowdpleasers...if any..

Amazing Francesca Bianchi I would love to try Sticky Fingers as Sebastian mentioned his favourite. I bought some samples and they are really good very strong like in the 19th century. I found in an antic shop old perfumes well preserved in the darkness of a wood box and they smell very similar to Francesca Bianchi perfumes... For me they are like the perfumes of an alchemist. I don't know if these fragrances are really to my liking because I don't enjoy animalic notes so much, but from all of them, Sex and the sea seems the only one I'd probably be interested to smell/try out. Edit: I've managed to try out all of them a few weeks ago, even the new released Luxe calme volupte and in the end I bought The dark side and Tyger Tyger. I also liked Under my skin and the new one I've mentioned above, but the rest were just too intense for me.

Thank you Sebastian. I've finally begun to experience Francesca Bianchi myself (got some samples) and I agree with what you say about these fragrances. They are so unique and special, they are art. Each one takes you an a fascinating journey... But, argh! I can not decide for which one to pull the trigger and get a full bottle! It's kinda a draw between Sticky Fingers and Dark Night (and also Under My Skin). I usually have my issues with patchouli, but in SF? Oh man, who would have thought?...

I've been watching Maite and Amina Smells Fragrances and they love FB offerings. It is my intent in the very near future to grab a sample pack of these jewels. I love the way you described all of the fragrances and Patchouli is one of my all-time fav notes in a fragrance as well. It just adds so much body IMO. I tend to gravitate more to the oriental side of fragrances, so these are right up my alley. I'd definitely be interested in Sticky Fingers for sure. Another great review sir!

I wanted to love Francesca Bianchi's fragrances but my first purchase was Under My Skin and it irritates my skin. It leaves me with a rash on my neck, inner elbow or wrists. So disappointing. I've turned to spraying it on my clothing but I don't think it produces the same effect.
