Thanks for taking the time to make and share this informative video. I’m hoping to pick one of these up this week as my friend has one and it feels better than my Hatsan Escort which the bushing/piston broke recently and the part is hard to get. The 7 year guarantee is the thing that attracts me to it and for £740 Uk £, it well worth it. At least now I know the maintenance in full it should last for years. Thanks again Stay well Ash from Scotland 🏴

you make very informative / instructional videos, well done! I have a question, why do you retain the red plastic rod that limits capacity to 3 shots? Is that a rule for hunting wildfowl in USA ? Thanks :)
@EveryDayLimits2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is a law that your gun needs to be plugged for waterfowl hunting so you can only ever have 3 shells.

I shoot the same gun and shells. I've shot 100 shells be for cleaning and never had powder on my trigger assembly like that! I also shoot black clouds. How many shells did you shoot before this cleaning? I don't use much oil on the trigger group if any at all. I use the remington trigger assembly cleaner instead of rem oil and it drys nice and not oily. Could that be why your having so much powder build up on your assembly?
@EveryDayLimits3 жыл бұрын
Possibly. I have went well over 100 shells though. Probably close to 250 shells and have not cleaned it yet this season.

I've always used Ballistol on all of my firearms. Is it really bad for your gun?

Good points about dirty ammo, I use a combination of Napier rapid degreaser and their combined [V90 anti corrosion] cleaner/lubrication spray. Have some Hoppes One Shot cleaner/dry lube to try sometime. Have a small amount of ceracoat go from beside the ejection port but mines "gray" timber version so not so noticeable, did you get anywhere with your complaint? Took mine skeet shooting, apart from being told off for having a sling [aka snobbery] it was sublime with the 1/4 choke [UK weapon] It shoots comfortable clay loads all day long, no bruising even with the odd bicep 2nd mount!

Thanks. Mine is being recerakoted under warranty right now and I should be getting it back soon. I will post a video on how they did when I get it back.

It's great that you oil everything, but you never safety checked the gun after reassembly. You checked to make sure that everything works except for the safety. Weird.

Stop cleaning your gun with a paper towel and you'll see a lot less debris in your gun after a few hunts. Wipe your face with a paper towel and see how much of the towel ended up in your stubble. Paper towels are notorious for leaving stuff behind. It is not the black shell rounds making a mess in your receiver, it's your damn paper towels. That's ridiculous.

Why say compete tear down when it’s not? Very misleading

this gun sucks unless you are shooting 3.5's only !!!!!!!!!!! mine will jam every time with anything under 3.5 in goose load not impressed
@shawnl791110 ай бұрын
Physics is a bitch. The gun is designed for 3.5” loads which have a lot more energy than lighter loads. Mine will occasionally fail to cycle with a 2-3/4” low brass target load but that’s to be expected. Other than that no issues with mine.
