The Barbie movie was brilliant, an insightful commentary on modern life and the way men and women are treated so very differently. With added singing and dancing. But of course not for everyone if that sort of thing is not of interest.

On the surface the Barbie movie was goofy and campy lol. The greatness of it lies in how we tend to focus on the superficial surface issues when there are deeper issues we should be focusing on. The deeper issue being the differences between how gender roles of men and women are perceived vs how they play out in real life.

I think rather than asking something vague like "Did anybody 'like' the Barbie movie" you might want to ask yourself what you mean by the word "like?" Do you mean the movie didn't amuse you? That it didn't make you feel good? or do you mean you thought that it was without value, as art?

The Barbie movie was actually made for small little girls that’s usually who the markets go for 1st then also expect older Barbie fans. Like transformers or G.I Joe etc……
