Every day i realize more and more that its not about the notes possible within the instrument you play, but the soul of the player. The soul is where the real music occurs, the timing, the notes you cant play, but still express.That is where true capability lies. This is what dreams are made of

@James-re6co3 күн бұрын
@@l33amv86 Bro, every KZbin moron knows that the soul is the eternal thread weaving through the tapestry of existence, threading together the cosmic dance of all things. Everything in life is but a reflection of this inner essence, an unspoken longing for reunion with the divine. The material world, with all its chaos and illusion, is but a temporary vessel for the soul to experience the paradoxes of time and space, the fleeting nature of form, and the endless quest for transcendence. Every interaction, every moment, is a delicate negotiation between the body, mind, and soul - where the soul stirs, whether through joy or suffering, pushing the human experience forward, like an arrow aimed at the heart of the infinite. The soul is not bound by the temporal, for it exists in multiple dimensions simultaneously, like a celestial being caught in a momentary human guise. Life is the theater, and we are the actors - but the soul knows the script before it takes the stage. It watches the play unfold, knowing that in the end, the play itself will vanish, revealing the eternal stage where nothing is ever truly lost. The beauty of life lies not in its material success, but in the dance of the soul's journey through the veils of illusion. Each choice we make, each step we take, is an echo of the soul’s desires - a longing to return home to a place beyond time, beyond duality, beyond the noise of this earthly existence. Love, pain, joy, sorrow - all of these are simply songs of the soul, harmonizing with the frequencies of the universe, shaping the journey through the labyrinth of life, leading the seeker back to the silence of pure being. And in this vast, unfathomable ocean of existence, the soul knows no separation. It is the drop, it is the ocean. It is the light and the shadow. It is both the question and the answer.

One of his songs just popped up randomly on my Spotify and I thought "I'm sure I've heard that flutey sound before" (possibly in a hip hop record that sampled it) so I did some Googling to find out what instruments he used. The mbira mentioned in a few places turned out to be the wrong thing, but wikipedia mentioned this one-note flute (called a "n'dehou") and now I'm here. What a charming interview with an immediately likable gentleman! EDIT: It was Arcade Fire's 'Everything Now' (not a hip-hop track) that contained the flutey bit I recognised. They sampled it from the Coffee Cola Song.

How can one Man, become such a Master Artist... at just ONE NOTE??? That sound woke something Primal in me. I have never understood ASMR. It doesn't "do it" for me. This did. Mind blown. Eyes dripping. Cranked up the sound on my bone conducting headphones as loud as I safely could, amd just... listened. One of the most beautiful and instinctual... something I don't have a WORD FOR... I have ever heard. There is only ONE place on this planet, where I have had SOUND, give me this same reaction I felt here. I came from someone's short video of this, to do a deep dive on this MUSIC. This GORGEOUS Music, that this MASTER Artist has managed to learn and create. The ONLY thing I have heard, or not heard in my case, is one single place I know of, where I cannot hear The World Hum, I have constantly heard my entire life. The silence, was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard before. I never wanted to leave that spot where I found it. I wanted to live in that area for the rest of my days, no matter how much it cost to make it happen. This... is now Tied for 1st place with that, for me.
