How lovely to come across this recording of my father singing with Paul Hamburger accompanying on the piano.

Your father had a remarkable gift! I hope to be able to share more of his art in the future. His record label, Meridian, seems to have stopped producing his records. I understand there may be recordings of English songs and also Schubert's "Die Schöne Müllerin". Hopefully they may surface at some point.

It takes me back in time - I can see him vividly in my mind's eye, rehearsing and performing. Warm thanks to you!
