Francis got paid big in boxing coz he quit the ufc as the ufc heavyweight champion. He had 2 exhibition events. It was 10 rounds not 12. Lost twice. Then he went to the pfl. But he is 38 and he can't box the pro boxing prospects and build ranking. Only exhibition fights

Boxing gave him some 30M dollars and at one point got him ranked top 10 in the rankings. He got knocked out because his only fights were against top 10 fighters but boxing still gave him the money he needs so he doesn't have to take Jake Paul circus fights when he retires.

Francis was ranked in the wbc coz he had a event with Fury. Fury been with the wbc for a long time. Same boxing organisation Wilder is with. And their ranking system is whatever the wbc choose. So Francis got ranked after 1 fight. Promoted then Francis lost to Joshua then Francis moved to the pfl and the wbc removed him from the rankings
