Your videos are making me want to move back to NYC. If you have time, take your bikes, GoPro and mouth holder to the West Side bike path. It’s right on the Hudson, and probably the most photo-worthy stretch of riding in the city. Also, you can marvel at how pedestrians and runners insist on taking up the bike path despite having a parallel path closer to the river. Thanks for this series of vids.

NYC has a Velodrome you should check out. It's out in Flushing Queens Kissena Park. Not the steepest or in best condition but a nice ride out to it.

It's always so good to see Daisy in Vlogs again. Also miss her presence in Giro greatly. Daisy aways made a top class coffee 😊 Must be coffee heaven at yours. Also miss Daisy's ability to express her displeasure and frustration 🤣😊 she has expressive profanity down to a fine art.

Great vid, love the balance of cycling, friends and food. Did initially think the sponsored section of the video was going to be for the Brooklyn beer in the foreground, but the GRILL mount is probably better (at holding GoPro's)....

I commend you for bravery and competence in navigating around heavy traffic. I despise riding in big cities and downtown areas. It does look like there are some good paths there at least but unless they go for miles and miles and people know to stay to the right I'd be sticking to the indoor trainer.

If Williamsburg bridge is getting on your nerves - try Manhattan bridge. It's a bit further away, has similar gradient, and leaves you in Chinatown - not that far south from where Williamsburg bridge exists. You may also consider riding around Jamaica Bay and visit Fort Tilden and Rockaway beach (the loop also hits Shirley Chisholm State Park with some nice gravel roads). Enjoy your stay in the city!

The new protected Brooklyn Bridge on-road bike lane is so much better!! Riding up on the promenade with all the pedestrian tourists taking selfies used to be basically impossible-the majority of NYC cyclists (except for that one guy with the song...) would just avoid it altogether and go out of our way to take a different bridge. The on-road lane isn't quite as scenic but being able to actually ride properly over the bridge again has cut a mile off my commute every day!

Do you have to wear lights at night/dusk in NYC. Has the bike infrastructure got any better (or worse) since before Covid and since most Covid restrictions ended in nYC. How bad is bike theft in NYC or is it the same as in the UK. Can you take your bike on the subway or buses (or both). Is it quicker than the subway. If you can't use the tunnels, how do you get to those places otherwise. Is there more people riding now since Covid "ended" in NYC. How do taxies and buses treat bikers. Does the city councils care about bikers or is it just greenwashing. Is it easier to buy a new bike now after Covid cleared most stock off the shelves. How do bikers in NYC deal with humidity (or is the answer the same as pedestrians)

Ah, but… any New Yorker would have told you that the Brooklyn Bridge is virtually unbikeable. 😆 I only go there once in a while before dawn, to watch the sunrise from the top deck. Any other time pedestrian traffic is impenetrable.
