Hey Francisco! Something to check would be the pndb (power net distribution box) it's located on the firewall left of the sam chassis. I've seen them fail or the fuses blow inside them and cause the lights or switches to not work properly. Good luck!

Hey Francisco your problem is the starpoint connector it's a chip that all j1939 go thru every leg should ohm out to 60 its in the middle of the truck In front of shifter that piece of plastic in dash remove plastic it's located there next to a black box it looks rectangular in shape and in one corner its like a hexagon

In very rare cases the Sam Chassis needs to be programmed so I don't know if that could be another issue if the fuse suggestion doesn't work.

Good video. Aparentas un tio alto, cuanto mides , 1.80 - 1.90m Supongo que ya revisó las masas que no se hayan quemado. Los Relays que estén todos bien. El dashboard o tablero de instrumentos en los mercedes y algunos Toyota, lleva centralita propia, no se en ese modelo de freightliner.

I had same problem I add ground cable it stop flashing all lights but it didn’t stop over charging 2 batteries over 14.5 v reading

I just had the same issue…came back to my truck after a storm weekend…it was the SAM chassis module…did you replace with a brand new module or a spare one laying around?…try a brand new one and see if that solves the issue…I thought it was lightning also, I found that water got into unit after heavy rain…the new units are completely sealed from water entry…the old unit had a drain holes on the backside but after so long water corrodes the units connections inside causing a loss communication code…hopefully this is helpful

Probably fried the engine harness. Replace all ground wires as well

A mi me paso lo mismo yo encontré un fusible de 140 amp dañado en la caja fusible en el panel de fuego usa 3 fusibles uno de ellos estaba dañado

Profe check the spark plugs..😂 no that’s the power switch on the floor board to main ecm I had the same problem on my cascadia but it was corosion and had to change the engine harness ..one of those harnesses is bad..good luck..

I change batteries and alternator Both alternators old and new one generate over 15 v smoke my batteries so I charge battery alternator add ground on trailer fuse box now lights work no flashing crazy but over charging to 14.5 and up took 2 batteries I tried with 2 batteries it started same issue over charge any idea Check all cables nothing crossed

dude... You hooked the positive cable (on the alternator) to the 15v charger port. I did that once and all my batteries smoked. (overcharged the batteries)

I have issues with my 2012 cascadia. It will not turn off when I turn the ignition switch off. Anyone else have this problem. Please help.

POSSIBLE FIX: On the switch that you turn off to power off the batteries (Located below the driver seat), go underneath and unplug it. Power one of the cavities until you hear a click. That should fix the problem. I had the same issue as describe here. After this don't ever use the power switch again! or just repeat the above..

I have 2016 cascadia and i have a carrier apu on it. Lately im getting problem with my apu. Problem was it was starting randomly. Even i turn the kill switch off still it was working. Last time i tried lets keep the ignition on while kill switch off maybe it will stop running apu randomly when i was away. I did it and left when i come back 7 hours later my apu was running and exactly same lights was on my truck. Headligts were on clearence lights was blinkin never seen it before. I turn the ignition off and turn on the kill switch than tried to start the truck everythg was normal. Than i took the fuse out from apu went to vacation. Come back and start working. 200 miles later i have my abs active break and hsa light came on and transmission kicked to manual.. when i restart the truck its start as a normal after any miles sometimes 5 sometimes 200 miles its randomly coming back thoose lights and start using as a manual. They will check monday but i think its gonna be long journey to finf out. 😥freightliner broke my heart

@chrissteffes3507 if you getting the abs light on tell your mechanic to check bearings and tone rings first. They checked mine after spend $4k. And idk where you're but don't go to freightliner dealer at the southbend in.

When the truck was hit by the lightning the computer flashed meaning Everything is stuck in the last position the driver had before he was hit by lightning That's why the lights and hazards are still on you need to Flash the computer or disconnect the battery and leave them disconnected for 5 minutes

Tengo el mismo problema con mi troke,... so voy a cancelarle el DEF me dijeron que eso es,... si después de eso no funciona le voy a adaptar un motor serie 60, si no funciona les juro que tengo varios cientos de gallones de gasolina listos para prenderle fuego le he metido más de 45k ningún viaje he podido hacer en el lo compré semi usado a Ryder ratas con licencia para vender me mandaron a volar con la garantia,... so los invitaré a ver el trusksticio,si no funciona
