You look at your friends in relationships and see how much they love and care for each other. you just want that closeness. You want to hold them. Kiss them. My best friend showed it to me a while back, when I was struggling with my sexuality, saying it reminded him of me. We stood in his kitchen and I immediately started crying, so he just held me. Back then I thought I was cupiosexual and cupioromantic and really grieved my dreams and wishes to have a beautiful relationship. Well fast forward to now, about a year later… I now consider myself demisexual and demiromantic, having fallen deeply in love with said best friend, but knowing exactly that thid will never happen.
