Let us hope for peace in the richest continent on earth and in need of safety, respect and cease of civil war. We are lucky to have these documents from one of the greatest musical minds on any continent on any country period. The music lacks distribution with the demise of Sonodisc Records and the death of Le Grand Maître and too many members of TPOK who needlessly died to illness that could have been easily cared for in many cases and the civil unrest is a disgrace to souls needlessly lost.

Toutes ces chansons à l’époque véhiculait bien un message (les mbwakelas) qui n’étaient connu et décrypté que par les seuls initiés. Celle ci était bien destinée à un couple très célèbre à l’époque par leur histoire et tout ce qu'il y a eu comme dégâts collatéraux. Il suffit de suivre bien les paroles de la chansons et connaitre cette histoire pour comprendre ce qu'on voulez dire par "Ayant droit" ...

@@MrMokdav L' histoire à l'origine de cette chanson, me demandez vous? je n'en sais rien. Et je presume même que si il y en eut vraiment une, elle ne aurait pu etre miss officiellement à la connaissance du publque. La mélodie quant à elle, bien "melodieuse" pour tous. Alors, bonne detente à tous.

@@maval10 effectivement l'histoire était bien connu de ceux qui savait lire entre les mots. A cette époque Franco était très sollicité surtout dans le milieu politique pour souvent repondre à ceux qui ne se disaient pas tout haut. C'est le cas des chansons comme " bisalela" veuve du 12/02, "toyeba yo" EMWP, " mokolo tonga" LKWD ... et ce cas "ayant droit" avait bien fait tabac ... zamba epeli moto ... kulutu na leki bazali batu ...toutes ces petites phrases indiquaient bien les dessinateurs

Dave, vous me mettez devant le dilemme de "Qui dit mieux et le dit directement (sans jambages)" au sujet des chansons et les hommes/ femmes que Luambo aurait chanté(e)s. Vous- Dave ou Franco, lui-meme? Dans sa chanson intitulée "Mbanda a koti kikumbi", Franco a crié tout haut et fort en chantant et fit savoir que "il ne chante et n'a jamais chanté 'malignement' contre quelqu'un(e). Et que ses chansons melodieuses etaient bien des oeuvres d'un artiste, et cet artiste qui ne cherche que à gagner sa vie". MBANDA A KOTI KIKUMBI: " .. AWA NGAI NA KOYEMBA, AWA BINO BO KO BINA. MOTO NA MOTO NA KATI YA PISTE A KO LOBA LIKAMBO NA NDENGE NA YE. OH LUAMBO A YEMBELI MOTO, OH LUAMBO A LOBELI MOTO. NA LOBAKA MPO NA MOTO TE, NA YEMBAKA MPO NA MOTO TE. NA YEMBAKA MPO NA MOSALA NA SALAKA, NA LIESASKA BANA NA NGAI. SOKI NA SALI TE, NDENE NINI NA KO LIESA BANA. Autant que cela parait vraisemblable, il se ferait que EMWP "Engambe Edo" repondrait bien au portrait de "Toyeba yo", comme paint par Luambo. Et ce portrait n'a pas changé durant les dernieres 30 annees de EMWP. De meme, Papa Leon (LKWD) repondrait parfaitment au portrait de "Tailleur" et "Mbanda a koti kikumbi". D'ou mon dilemme! Mon cher Dave, qui dit mieux alors Luambo ou vous? (kkkkk!). De ce qui precede, j'ai une voie de sortie de ce dilemme: devrons nous avancer, observer et confirmer que dans certaines de ses oeuvres Franco Luambo usait de la Satire, et aussi d'autres sont des fables pour mieux eduquer la societe. Alors là, Franco Luambo Makiadi serait plus grand que Jean de La Fontaine. Qui dit mieux?
