Fran, what model of OM???
@franguidry3 жыл бұрын
It's an OM-18GE, I think these are currently out of production. It's a pretty close replica of a 1930 OM-18, with a chunky neck, 1 3/4 nut and 2 3/8 saddle, mahogany back and sides, red spruce top, 1/4" red spruce bracing. I think you would have to order a custom or go for the very pricey OM-18 Authentic to get similar specs today. Fran

If anyone might mind it might be Led, he's a pretty modest guy especially considering his talent. Thanks for stopping by and offering such a thoughtful comment. Fran

@@franguidry Hello, Fran Guidry, Nice to receive your kind reply. I have many more such comments regarding Ledward Kaapana! I am a big fan and have several of his CD's. I don't recall exactly how I found out about or first heard him, but I do remember how I was introduced to slack-key guitar and Hawaiian-style music. Back in the late 90's, I picked up a couple of cassettes (remember those?) from a bargain bin at Walmart. They were of HAPA, and I played them to death!!!!

@@janebethshimon Jane, I read your lovely comments about the guitars Led was playing in a couple of other videos, my Wingert and my Walker. I assume you deleted the comments after you made them, but no need as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps you visited Kathy's website or Kim Walker's? Believe me, I bought my guitars long before they both became famous and so pricey. I'm very happy my friends are able to command such value, but I could never afford to buy from either of them today.
