I was blown away when I realized that although the penciling is important (naturally) it's more important when you get to the inking. That's when I learned to be more free with my pencil lines and more precise with my inking skills. My artwork took off by leaps and bounds after that.

Gosh I am sooo glad you're not a robot Frank! I'm learning so much from your videos and i'm glad you didn't just go in and black it out. Some guys use so much black that they might as well draw on a black paper lol!

I like the look of these characters. When you're cross hatching the darker ares towards the end of the video , are you lifting your pen up still at the end of each line or kinda going zigzag a little back and forth ? Please do another picture of Superman If you've the time. If possible like the Reeve style . I think you're awesome. Thanks.

I have a problem with Micron: when I delete the pencil, the ink looses his opacity. Do you have the same problem?

You should get a kneaded eraser, when you erase with a regular eraser, you are basically taking away the top layer of paper, hence why the ink loses its vibrance and contrast when you erase. With a kneaded eraser, you wont have any issues.

I've never seen you use contour cross-hatching, jus' linear cross-hatching. Am I mistaken, or is it a preference?

I'd rather see the inking of the girl than the crosshatching...
