Fantastic interview my dude! Growing up in the 90s my older sister worked at a mom and pop videostore near Washington DC that specialized in HK cinema bootlegs and I got free rentals. So glad to see all these movies from my childhood get the remastered/2k/4k treatment. Frank is such a knowledgable and entertaining dude and im always in awe of his knowledge in his commentary tracks. Old school HK cinema is the best 🤘

Great interview & great plea to try & get 88 Films to release more Shaw Brothers movies. My heart did sink a bit when he said that Arrow’s volume 3 will be horror oriented because it might contain the already released horror titles by 88. I wish wish wish they release more fantasy movies such as Holy Flame of the Martial World it is one of my top favourite kung fu/fantasy movies.

Love Frank Djeng, does he ever realize how many combined hours people have spent listening to him? I've heard him more than almost anyone. Wish he would get proper sleep, sounds like a ravaging schedule and he has to watch himself.

Excellent interview! I just learned about the proposed Bruce clones box set nice! Do you think the US will get a 4K Bruce Lee set? I imagine Criterion owns the rights or just the blu ray rights…not sure

Gutted to hear that Frank was unable to fit in recording a brand new audio commentary for the upcoming Game of Death 4K UHD Blu-ray due to his busy schedule. 😞 I’m a huge Bruce Lee fan and enjoy listening to audio commentaries. How I wish the 50th Anniversary release of Enter the Dragon on 4K UHD Blu-ray included some brand new commentaries. The old Peter Heller one was pretty disappointing imo.

Dont be too gutted my friend! We have Frank and Michael Worth on Game of Death2 and the commentary for Game of Death is being handled by Big Mike Leeder and Brandon Bentley who are both extremely knowledgeable and highly entertaining! We’ll be in safe hands with those two gentlemen I am sure!! I think the Arrow set overall is going to be an absolute monster! Enter the Dragon’s 50th anniversary release however is a whole different, much sadder story. It’s shocking how lame Warner Brothers are at producing new bonus material. The extras for ETD haven’t changed in 20 years now since the advent of DVD really. Shameful!

@@TheFanaticalDragon - Totally agree. Warner Bros. are disrespecting and insulting Bruce Lee and movie fans worldwide. If only they had allowed Arrow Video to handle this release instead. I understand from a purely greed and let’s make as much profit as possible point of view why they chose not to but not only would the release have been infinitely better I’m sure they would have sold just as many, if not more copies! 🙄👎🏻

@@TheFanaticalDragon - Mike Leeder previously recorded an audio commentary for Game of Death for Shout! Factory’s 2013 release pf Bruce Lee: The Legendary Collection. The audio quality of those commentaries were awful and easily the worst I’ve heard. They sounded like they had been phoned in on a poor mobile connection. Hopefully lessons will have been learned and the same errors won’t happen again. 🤞🏻

They are the same tracks ported over onto Criterion’s set. The audio quality is muffled but the content Mike put in to them is great! I am very sure the tracks for Arrow will sound just as good quality wise as all the tracks Mike and Brandon have recorded for Kino Lorber, 88 films and Eureka! Mike’s tracks with Arne are always in excellent audio quality. Fear not!
