i did 10 years of research in Switzerland and no copies found, they all went out, should spin at arround 76rpm, kalophon were inconsistent of speed

They were never sold; a number of unsold sets were discovered years ago and sold to a number of collectors (I am one of them) by the finder. Only "Too Bad" was commercially sold but only ONE, very worn, copy is known to exist.

@@Gennettor-nc8kx this Is a bad news! Actually Just last week a friend of my research group found 2 sides of Guarente in Turin Italy! they are UNMARKED record, Nothing Is written, Just the empty Kalophon logo! But its actually Guarente!!!

@@Gennettor-nc8kx Who told the info that they never sold? Kalophon i believe didnt have the luxury to not sell something as It was a budget Label in financial crisis! Maybe thats why in switzerland there are no copies but plenty of other Kalophon!

@@casparpolitman THIS SERIES OF 3 KALOPHON ISSUES (BY GUARENTE) never sold commercially. I didn't say Kalophon's didn't sell. Read before you comment.

This was Guarente brief attempt at playing in the Bix style.. Thankfully he gave that up in London and returned to his new Orleans/Chicago style.

I have seldom read such nonsense. This does not sound like Bix at all and clearly it is no attempt by Guarente to do so. And Guarente NEVER played in a "New Orleans/Chicago style" - whatever you mean by that; they are TWO VERY DIFFERENT styles!
