Fabulous, you were able to show both versions! That makes it easier to see the differences of plan & how it changes the interior & the feeling of the spaces especially since you are able to show same furnishings in rooms, even donuts waiting on the table for us to eat! I love elements of both...so would do a 3rd version which Wright basically did for clients by adding both together for what was liked in both versions by client & then the final plan done with client picking exactly how they wanted it making it much more difficult NOT to build it. So even myself, love the entry planter in floor, gives a wider "more interactive" entry feel,and an item to be changed and enjoyed thru seasonal changes to keep home feeling more fresh. Wider dining with medium sized table & buffet along entire wall & larger doors. Love the 2 bedroom version with bath between & like the curved living room with opposing roof shape, out of ordinary for Wright as most of his curved living rooms reflect a curved roofline with massive tall copper ornamental fascia....here its understated as fascia and i feel more elegant and more successful in its streamlined simplicity. Job well done as always. The difference in tapered cmu blocks is also interesting but I'm always drawn to stone walls. The hallway storage, linen & clothing cabinets however could be done with only the end one outside M.Bedrm as full height, and lower others to top at 5'0" ht with row of horizontal clerestory windows above storage units & perforated plywd veneer panels as rest of homes design. Maybe the middle one only as clear glass.

muy bueno ver las diferentes versiones y cual es la definitiva.. me parece interesante como proceso de diseño, como reflexionar la volumetría, materialidades etc.. o sea poder ver como es el proceso de diseño de uno de los mas grandes arquitectos de la historia, es hermoso.. muchas gracias por este trabajo! me encantó! felicitaciones!!

Este video es la primera version, fue concebida en piedra, la ultima version es en bloque de concreto y esta en mi anterior video, muchas gracias por ver el video y proximamnete se vienen nuevos proyectos no construidos.

Take a look at the Lovness and Peterson cottages for materials and colors. They both recently went thru a restoration too so the interiors are “brighter” than they were for a while…. They are both from roughly the same decade.
