@@KILLIVVN i mean overall it was great. aside from the lipsyncing of nights and nikes, the lateness, the gaps between, and the lack of a livstream, which are for sure inexcusable, the performance was great and actually one of his best in terms of music actually being performed. im a vocalist and i can tell you he was never that great of a live singer back in the day, but this performance had literally his best vocals ive ever heard, he for sure got some coaching or something. like i get this performance had problems and it was shitty that he didnt do week 2 but people act like it was this massive trainwreck when it really wasnt. yes even crystallmess' set was fucking awesome lmfao, homer radio enjoyers get it. either way it's frank's fault at the end of the day, because im sure if they let it livestream we would be spinning back the hits and not goin on and on about how the whole thing was a disaster, which is what most people seem to be doing a year on and even then.

There's a rapper named Aesop Rock who had his first and only television appearance on the Colbert late night show. The song AES chose to perform is called Dorks. It's a sarcastic, metaphors-ridden song about how fans and rappers in the mainstream suck. I feel like Frank Ocean's performance was a piece of art expressing a similar notion.

I was at the performance. I think the best word to describe the show is “confusion”. At first, I thought the delay was just a production issue with the screen/stage. Then came the people walking in circles, which felt like an eternity at the moment. Then the random silent breaks in between songs when Frank would just walk off stage. Then half way through was that dj and twerking security guard. And the rest was mostly Frank vibing to his own music, but not singing into a mic. All in all, Coachella 2023 was a success and by far best festival I’ve been to, even with the Frank mess. And if he ever decides to perform again, I’ll give him another chance.

I’m still kinda lost in the Frank situation I wasn’t at the performance I watched it at home and I liked it a lot I listen to electronic music some times and the mix of Franks music and minimal techno was amazing And yes that he was late is bad and canceling week 2 as well But all the stuff about how the performance was bad really pisses me of He’s a artist He does what he thinks is cool and delivers that He doesn’t own you shit
