Actually there have been a few more. Chigisev 251kg at 125kg, Scherbatihs 260kg at 131kg, Salem 255kg at 123kg, probably a couple others. Also, I know hes not a super but IMO the most impressive of them all, Zakharevich 250.5kg at 110kg.

@DinoCorleone I hesitate to even call it a record. Not only Taranenko, but in my mind Anatoly Pisarenko's 265kg at ~125kg > Rezazadeh's 263.5 at 163kg.

@DinoCorleone In 1988 Leonid Taranenko C&J 266 kilos. Don't worry about it though...you probably weren't alive :). Probably don't know who Krastev is either...

Steiner's arms were not locked on any of his attempts. All of his 3 jerks were pushouts. Amazing how IRAN produces so many super heavyweight and heavyweight champions.

I see some drops here. Get those judges some dark glasses ans a cane! The Korean guy was blowing kisses to the crowd while the bar bounced up to his shoulder height from the drop. No effort at all. Maybe if Salimi hadn't been posing so long with his second attempt he would have had the energy to jerk his third. Celebrate AFTER you've won!
