I usually like beefier necks, but I really like the feel and the rolled edges of this CE-24.

Nice guitar no question, but doesn't have its own voice like a strat does, or a les paul

Man. I love everything about prs quality playability keeps tune. Improvement. And yet to me always sound like crap. Missing so much tone or sub tones. Sterile. Flat. Boring. And here fret buzz. LPs and fenders always sound correct full rich. But LPs tuning never guaranteed

Thanks for the comment. I'm a Gibson and Fender player through and through. My favorite guitars are my vintage Les Paul Juniors. I do use my PRS's for their versatility. They can do things that my Les Pauls and Telecasters can't do (trem, coil splits). I have never experienced any PRS having fret buzz. I think the newer PRS pickups aren't as "sterile" sounding as the older one were. Many people have the same opinion you have, so it's fine, I just wanted to explain my side of the story.

@@dmusumeci something I've found concerning the "sterile" sound of PRS. With a LP the tone changes when you dig in with the pick. The PRS seems like it doesnt. That's not quite true though. On my CE it does, but the thing is "normal" picking is digging in on the PRS. If I pick softer then normal, then dig in you don't the tone change like a LP. I also think that the PRS has a tone that brings out a very pure tone. I don't want to say acoustic, but a tone where you can hear the resonance of the string, vs a LP which maybe acts a bit more dynamic, but also sounds a little more electric. Idk hard to put into words. Final point, while not my particular style, great playing man and awesome demo !

Get your ears checked. You don't like the amp tone not the guitar tone. These guitars are fantastic and more resonant than most off the shelf LPs.
