The only thing “solid” about that fight would be the swelling and bruising Anderson would feel from Sanchez’ ferocious hook body shots, and tasting the canvas from one of Sanchez’ counter spring-step hook shots! Stylistically, it’s a nightmare matchup for Jared Anderson, and he needs to avoid Sanchez like the plague.

Maybe that's just me but i found this to be unimpressive. His opponnent is basically a cruiser weight who doesn't wanna cut weight and sanchez himself is small compared to the top heavyweight fighter, if its smaller than him, its small. A match with anderson would be nice.

I like Sanchez but the ref needed to do something about him holding Alexander's head down with his left and hitting him with right uppercuts. That shit isn't ok. A few times is understandable but that was an insane amount of times just in the highlights.

Scott Alexander is just a small heavyweight. Frank Sanchez is such a great fighter but appeared to be overconfident in this fight, he was damn lucky in the first round, he would have been knocked out. However, he threw so many punches that landed at the back of Scott's head and the referee allowed it to happen repeatedly without caution.

Well, i’m glad that Frank Sanchez won. Sanchez was not quite himself early-on in that fight though. He was just brawling, and not staying behind his jab enough. He needs to quit fighting straight up like that, and use his footwork more. Sanchez has the ceiling to beat anyone, but he won’t beat the big 4 Heavyweights if he fights like he did against Alexander. I think he was just tired of so many lame duck opponents, that it actually made him too anxious. Stay the course, and train even harder!

In my opinion, he’s become too entrenched in everybody telling him he’s great on social media. He needs to slow things down, and go back to the fundamentals in camp. Sanchez rhythm in the pocket is key for him. What Frank did against Carlos Negron was masterful! When Frank keeps his base behind the fast jab, and moves side-to-side that’s what sets him up to throw those insane sucker spring hook shots. If Frank had tried to pull the same approach against a Deontay Wilder like he did in the above Alexander fight, it would have been bad for Frank.
