Dear Super Fly: these 3 guys were on the cutting edge of true Liberalism- Sammy was IMHO the most heroic- but Dino and Frank (and Jerry) HATED racism. It's simply unAmerican! Love to you and yours, and Viva Curtis Mayfield. :)

Yes! They drew often and a lot from Jerry Lewis. I don't know if he agreed but so far I haven't read any of his statements that he wasn't.

Although I love these guys individually, I never got into the rat pack. They were a vulgar impersonation of Martin and Lewis. They did some of the same things Dean and Jerry did. And before anybody says anything negative about Jerry, remember this.... Sammy was his best friend and Sinatra loved him. Frank even thought Jerry was more talented than Dean when he first met them. Dean wanted the split with Jerry but here he is doing the same thing, except it took 4 other guys to replace him

Dino martini It seems that these days you can hardly say “Good morning” without offending SOMEBODY...🤐 And so much of what my generation was taught was just basic good manners is now considered to be sexist, misogynistic, racist... the list goes on and on. It’s getting so that anyone over about the age of 60 has to really stop and think in case an entirely innocently meant remark upsets whoever we are talking to. But at the same time, even little children now use the kind of language that used to be unheard of even among adults in ‘polite society’ or ‘mixed company’ It often feels like the whole world has gone topsy-turvy.

They are boring. As an Italian, I am forced to activate automatic translation and the same I can NOT laugh. They are slow ... comedic times equal to zero. Then I watch the videos of the skits of Dean and Jerry Lewis and just LOOKING at what they were doing I laugh a lot. The Rat Packs understand them only the Americans I know.
