Frank does not have a clue what atheism is, all atheist are independent, individuals that have no reason to believe in God or gods claims of existence, no one has ever evidence a god or gods to exist likewise they have not for unicorns, fairies, leprechauns, devils, demons or angels. There is plenty of evidence:from science, from history, philosophy and personal experience as well as from human faith (that has nothing to do with religion. Human faith is a knowledge provided by an authority or credible witnesses who transmit information not willing to lie or cause misinterpretation.Actually, it is the way most time humans get knowledge.Do not be narrow minded and explore honestly the possibilities.

Joe Rogan would never let this kind of person on his show. He’s too strong in his faith and comes with facts and evidence that God exist. Rogan wants nothing to do with that. He wants people on his show like Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss, so and so forth and if the people he does have on are religious, that’s not their main study and will have very little evidence or facts to convince Joe, so he wouldn’t be intimidated by them like he would with Frank.

Question for Christians: Turek says some people go to heaven and the rest go to eternal, unrelenting torture in hell. If you make it to heaven, are you going to be happy singing the eternal praises of a God who sent some of your family and friends to eternal torture? If so, how will you live with yourself?

Here is the problem: you guys believe in an all-powerful God who knows the future. He knows who will be saved and who won't before he even creates anyone, right? The decision to create a human that He knows ahead of time will roast in hell forever is absolutely immoral. God would be far more moral, and far more loving, if He simply did not create those humans to begin with. So there is a real question of the morality of God at the core of any religion that says some people go to hell and some don't. I don't think you should be quite so glib about the prospect of people going to hell. It does not make God look good.

@@marialenkova1642 Nah, these arguments have all been given before. Science is one avenue in which evidence can be found but it is limited to material and has no ability to prove immaterial. Which is what God is. Historical evidence exists pertaining to the Biblical events and people and that is also a method of forensic science, collecting trace evidence and piecing them together to determine dates, sources and events. Which line up with non-biblical writings as well. Evidence exists, it’s always just a matter of where people choose to look. Also the fact that interpretation bias also exists and often people will interpret evidence in the way that supports their already decided worldview. All function, structure, order and laws derive from minds. As is evident in our observable nature. There is no justifiable reason to assume some sort of exception for the origin of the universe. Which also displays these qualities.

What hard evidence can you or Turek present to the world? If Abraham Lincoln walks into congress tomorrow and tells everyone that god sent him that is hard evidence. For now we don’t know is the best answer because if Turek is asserting that God created life then he has another bigger question to answer to who created god.

At this point atheists know that God exists theres plenty of scientific evidence that points to an infinite, eternal, personal, and intelligent being who sits outside of creation and is precise and orderly. They just dont want there to be a God because then they would have to accept the fact that Someone else is in charge other than themselves. For example, because my car is a transportation device and was built in a factory, so must this horse be constructed in a factory because it's also a transportation device. Why did God create dinosaurs? Were tigers vegetarians in the garden of eden? Therefore, did they have buck teeth for chewing plant matter? Could snakes talk? How did 6 people keep two of every kind of animal alive on a boat? You'd agree that just because we aren't 100% sure of these answers does not make creationisn false? Turek's summary of Hitchens is shameful. If Hitchens was alive he'd have all kinds of retorts. Saying he was just "mad at God" (31:23) is deliberately obtuse. 32:44 "God creates out of nothing". Is that creation? Don't we define creation as being from existing material? 34:35 "Opposites can't be true at the same time, etc." Except when Jesus is fully man and fully god, right Frank? He's all assertion; no demonstration. Snake oil. Aim higher, folks.

If you look for interviews with Hitchen's brother, Peter, you will get an idea of Christopher's mind set when it came to God. He would be a better detailed source of info than Frank, and I believe you could find more of the answers you are looking for.

"We know the Universe had a beginning." WRONG from the start. What we know is that we can't know anything happening before or during the moment of the Big Bang. Turek's first sentence here is too simple. Pretty much sets the precedent for the too simple statements that follow.

Krauss's Universe from nothing, I've looked at the math and conclude the Universe to be paradoxically boundless to the past and bounded from our perspective (what is south of the South Pole if time only exists on the surface?). Hawking had to use imaginary time at the boundary of black holes.

Thormp1 just because you don’t believe in God doesn’t make his existence absent. Just cause I believe in the Bible doesn’t make it true. There’s evidence. Just as there is to support Christianity. You just don’t want to accept it. And that’s fine. Live your life how you want. Be on the search for truth your whole life. Claim there is no God as if that will make it come true.
