The notion of retributive (“tit-for-tat”) karma is just that - an unverified notion. Likewise, the idea of a distinct, reincarnating “soul” or “spirit” is largely a fallacious belief. Whatever state in which we currently find ourselves, is the result of two factors - our genetic make-up at conception and our present-life conditioning (which may include mutating genetic code). Every choice ever made by every human and non-human animal was determined by those two factors ALONE. Therefore, free-will is purely illusory, despite what most believe. Chapter 11 insightfully demonstrates this truism. As a consequence of residing within this dualistic universe, we experience a lifelong series of fluctuating, transient pleasures and pains, which can take the form of physical, emotional, and/or financial pleasure or pain. Surprisingly to most, suffering and pain are NOT synonymous. Suffering is due to a false sense of personal agency - the belief that one is a separate, independent author of one’s thoughts, emotions, and deeds, and that, likewise, other persons are autonomous agents, with complete volition to act, think, and feel as they wish. Another way of stating the same concept is as follows: suffering is due to the intellect being unwilling to accept life as it manifests moment by moment. There are five SYMPTOMS of suffering, all of which are psychological in nature: 1. Guilt 2. Blame 3. Pride 4. Anxiety 5. Regrets about the past and expectations for the future These types of suffering are the result of not properly understanding what was explained above - that life is a series of happenings and NOT caused by the individual living beings. No living creature, including Homo sapiens, has personal free-will. There is only the Universal, Divine Will at play, acting through every body, to which William Shakespeare famously alluded when he scribed “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” The human organism is essentially a biopsychological machine, comprised of the five gross material elements (which can be perceived with the five senses) and the three subtle material elements (the three levels of cognition, which consist of abstract thought objects), listed above. I don’t know if it was on TOE, but I heard some good advice about the EGO…don’t kill it, but give it something to do that you think is IMPOSSIBLE. Letting your Soul work on life and the Ego+Subconscious work in the background. This may be an easier path to Gnosis in our current reality. Nice post Curt, I’ll have to check this guy out.🤙🏼😊

yeah, interesting topic. Non-duality seems to be a potential pathway between sociology and physics. The question of what a human being is, well, needs the instrument of thought to come to an answer. The thinker, not being seperate from thought, reaches a wall- humans are thought. Non-duality can see through the 2-d nature of thought, for oneself. Not theoretically, but actually. The sphere is a circle in thought. So, thought can provide limited usage, namely between A and B, if and then, conditional logic. So then relative time, in action, is what non-duality comes upon. Perhaps, with 2 dimensions fitting in and not in conflict upon attention, higher dimensions of understanding, ones that cannot be captured by thought can be come upon. Perhaps, such a lens is necessary to get past the GR/QM conflict.☯

Constructive criticism. I love you, Kurt but when I see a notification from you. It's because I have the bell on and I expected full length interviews from the notification when I see them. Because that's how you did it before, but now I am reconsidering. My suggestion is that you have 2 channels that produce clips and another. That because people might not want to get notified all the time by the smaller clips. Perhaps the best idea. Instead of people unsubscribing/muting the bell.

It's like psychedelics force an experience on you, on your unprepared brain, thus can potentially result in a "bad trip" which is temporarily traumatizing. But once you're in the proper headspace, your experience is much better. Psychedelics will show you things you can't comprehend until you do it, then your eyes are open to the extreme. You are left with a lot to think about and the increased feelings really shocks you. It almost resets your brains line of thought, like all the negative thoughts are temporarily removed because all you think about is the experience you had, this helps people tremendously in terms of folks stuck in a self loathing cycle. They need to be pulled out of it and this does it for you for a good couple months which might be all you need to restart more positive thinking.

From my experience/experimentation, I believe psych edelics/mediation/sound frequencies break down the barrier between our conscious and subconscious mind, allowing our conscious mind to experience our sub conscious thoughts, feelings and memories.... however I also believe, in our subconscious mind we can access the universal consciousness.... One of my first truly breakthrough experiences, during my own experimentation was this... the words/feeling/communication I was experiencing, felt as if they were coming from someone/something/somewhere else.. """"" Hey we've been waiting for you... don't be scared.... don't be scared... your family is here with us... you don't really know him well, but he's family, he's family..... it's (then proceeded to tell me a name) he's safe, he's here with us, he's your family don't worry, he's with us"""" 3 days later I was with my mum and we were talking about our family and I was asking if any of my older family members had caught or been effected by c v..... at first she said no.... then after a short pause she said her cousin..... with the same name I had heard/felt/experienced 3 days before had been in a coma for 4 days with pneumonia and died the day after my experience......... I was gobsmacked and instantly began to feel an incredible sadness this was one of the most profound experiences of my life......... I had only ever met the man a few times and never really seen him or his family in my day to day life or on social media as I only use this......... there had been no mention from anyone or way of me knowing about his predicament in the weeks prior. I was a hard-core atheist before this....... now I have a new found sense of........ enlightenment amazement, fascination and desire to discover the world to which is there but we cannot see or experience, not in our normal state anyway. Peace, power and freedom to all the psychonauts out there.......

Aspects of Frank's descriptions remind me of Whitley Strieber's corpus. Particularly, the descriptions about entities in his room, appear to mirror in some way, descriptions in Strieber's book Communion. The erotic component is almost always present in such encounters, whatever they may represent.

No one gains enlightenment. You’ve always been what you are, you don’t become it. What’s referred to as ‘enlightenment’ is partly recognizing you’re not the body and its conditioned actions in the first place. After recognizing this, tripping may or may not still happen. It’s just that it won’t come from a ‘need’ of trying to find yourself. Edit: It’s common for people to project their ideas of what ‘enlightenment’ must look like. It’s actually unconditional. So recognizing it doesn’t necessarily erase one’s prior psychological conditioning (although it may derail them onto a new path of self-actualization, it’s just not a given). Outwardly, there may be no dramatic changes. Inwardly, the only apparent difference is there’s no longer the conviction that there’s an exclusively existing agent to whom experience is happening to, who is separate from the world, and has a personal volitional will upon what the body does. That’s the primary belief that dissolves. So to circle back around, if said individual had the prior conditioning that molded them with a proclivity to experiment with tripping, then that may or may not still happen. They just wouldn’t confuse their identity with what seems to happen during the trip which is what most people are prone to do prior to a recognition.

I’d say that’s all conditioning as well. I’m not proposing psychedelics for everyone. The self doesn’t really exist. It appears as thoughts appear and disappears along with them, like a mirage. It’s not really the body’s caretaker, the conditioning and instincts are. The sense of a self merely appropriates what the body does as its own doing after the fact. It isn’t really making the moves though. It’s like a gps-driving car with no one in the drivers seat. I’d say the illusion of a stable self is actually a hindrance to the caretaking of the body. It constantly personalizes and holds onto its problems, keeping the mind occupied on them for longer than it naturally would be.

Lmao this guy. Drugs will alter the perception because of the way it connects in the brain. The chemicals we intake like dmt alter the brains firing and accuracy of the representations. Our neurons fire in reflection of reality and that’s why eyes take in a portion and then that energy absorbed through the differences is not just traveling but growing through the differences into a different form and that form is represented by the neurons and the order/patterns of connections. First I’ll explain kinda what i mean about transformation with an analogy. An analogy is a difference that has a connection or pattern that matches or is similar to another difference. The differences are shared through the connections, look at evolution or math and you see the sharing that grows the differences. Shapes sharing and growing in difference to create letters, squares, cubes, a whole lotta stuff. The thing is that humans think everything is disconnected or separated but reality is sharing between every portion of itself. Like how the waves flow in water the energy travels through our connections but grows differences. Errors are allowed because reality is a range and we as humans can predict farther from the current and the amount we absorb and understand in the interconnected way, the more we can actually find paths and grow and guide reality into a difference. Humans are just predicting the differences and that’s how we got religion and other stuff like movies and stories. They are details of the real connected in a difference. So like your body is a habitat or ecosystem for bacteria, so to is it for differences in the mind. I’m not saying it’s all real but it’s all potential. We expose it through these connections similar to using math. The closer our representations match the differences, the more accurate the prediction. Kinda like using the right words. I hope you understand.
