@@markhenryramsey9132 This is why Black Sabbath is still my favorite band after more than a decade, you can really feel the blues influence in every song, with the original lineup at least. Geezer Butler and Bill Ward made some of the most amazing rhythms together.

@@torchmusic27 oh lord yes!! And Zeppelin the blues tinged metal and rock are the best. Just got myself some flatwounds, never had any in my 30 years of playing! I’m much more into my blues/jazz/motown/disco style these days so can’t wait to check out the tonal difference!! Keep playing my man!!

Love the look of those Gibson basses, but mine was very neck heavy and prone to head dive, Do you have that same issue with that one?
@torchmusic2711 ай бұрын
It's an issue that rears its head every now and then (pun not intended lol) but overall it's not too bad, I guess I've gotten used to it. I live and die for this sound and look so I just have to deal with it. The long scale variants have it especially bad. This is an Epiphone so it has a bolt-on neck and the button is offset to the top left screw which also helps a tiny bit, and if it had the bridge pickup, the added weight would probably help the balance too.

Great playing! Is this just with the stock pick up on the EBO or has it been modified ?

Thanks, it's an Artec alnico pickup. If you have an EB-0/3 yourself I can wholeheartedly recommend it, it sounds almost like a vintage Gibson mudbucker and only costs as much as a decent set of strings.
