Absolutely brilliant man. You even have your drums tuned the same as in the song. Playing Zappa is no easy feat on ANY instrument, but especially drums. Bravo.

Excellent Job! Not many drummers can execute this note for note the way you do here! That's impressive. I play quite a bit of FZ and some songs are close but not to this extent!

Fantastic … even had the stick flip at the end after a perfect take! Ballsy! Where’d you get the sheet music for this? Can you share it ? 😊

@@LarryBeatty Thanks a lot my friend. That's the great thing about Frank Zappa music. You have to play everything tight and musical. Although, it's always good to play tight and musical.

Glad to see you are still jammin! Seems like yesterday when you and Damian were both playing Moby Dick (I think) on the same drum set at a house party somewhere in TO. Can't remember what the band was, maybe Vahmit? Whenever I get in a discussion about best drummers, at the top is always this dude Theo I knew from highschool. Damian was there too! Rock on Theo!

Thanks John. Yeah! I remember that house party. That was a fun party! Lots of jamming on the drums from what I remember. I forgot which band was playing though. Good times!

Any chance of getting this isolated drum track? I’d love to jam this song with my guitarist. Hard to find a drummer that can hang with some zappa around here.
@theomordey3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed the video. To save space on my computer, after I finish a project, I save the final version on an external hard drive and then delete the Pro tools session. Unfortunately, I don't have the isolated drum part.
