My God I am happy the time i live in. Zappa fan since 70s as a teenager . Fav album was roxy at the time. Sitting at my desk stoned with cocktails at 61 yrs old and watching these young folks NAILING this stuff brings me great joy

Dear John, I am impressed by your cover of "Echidna's Arf (Of You)! I am 57 years old and come from Germany. When I was 15 or 16 years old, I started to fall in love with Zappa's music. I don't like everything by Zappa but overall for me he is one of the greatest musicians. I was lucky enough to see Zappa at the Alte Oper Frankfurt, at his last concert (The Yellow Shark). I was surprised and touched that you chose Tom Fowler and Jaco Pastorius for your cover. This proves to me your extremely good taste! Kind regards from Germany - Markus

@@BetterCallJohnsubbed, and I have played that piece myself, I know what kind of work you had to pour in to nail it. Learning a few more of the melody parts on bass was a very good exercise, for me. I don’t know if you play guitar also, but if you do, I would recommend trying to learn Peaches en Regalia as fully as possible.

Frank is my favorite, hands down. Love all the other Classic Rockers too. I'm an old guitarist and drummer in my late 50's, currently playing bass in a horn band (Chicago, BST, Steely Dan, etc). Trying to get the band to try Frank, so far no interest. I just subscribed to learn FZ on the bass. Great job! looking forward to checking your channel out.
