I haven't rolled down Woodward in decades, appreciate you indicating roads, makes it all so much more interesting. Detroit has changed a great deal in the last thirty-five years and it seems to be doing it exponentially, which is really fun and encouraging. It is a real salute to Detroit that they manage to save the Michigan Central.

What a fantastic city Detroit has become , it all looks so Clean and New now, its good they demolised all the emty buildings and renovated the other ones , compliment to The City of Detroit ,they worked so hard the last 10 years, and thank you frank for showing us all the progres that has been made, realy wonderful.

There’s a LOT NOT covered in this video of the NORTH END … MANY of these fine homes ( SOME GRAND ) had been lost during its decline …… But there IS a resurgence happening.. it seemed to be more aggressive during the time I moved. I moved 2010 and sold my property 2015 but it’s still going on especially the clearing of unfortunately the dilapidated rather than them being renovated …. Hopefully MORE fill-in homes are coming …. It’s definitely a good location being centrally located and only steps to the Q line in the Woodward Corridor and the freeways

Huge homes at the end of the video....The area seems devoid of a lot of any shopping except for the food co-op and King Cole's grocery store....

As weird as this may sound, I find that that the vacant land beautifies these neighborhoods. It's like going on a drive through the country.

@schonkable Not weird at all! We've been calling Detroit a country city for years now. What's weird to us is that some people (on other videos) still call the open land "desolate, devastated," etc. We see opportunities! Thanks!
