I been discussing, with the mod author on his Facebook page. He said he is willing to look into fixing that but has no idea how courseplay works. I have no idea either myself so it's been speculation on my part. If anyone has insight would be greatly appreciated.

@@granvillewright4115 as you said a thin border using a texture the game recognises as unworkable, on console it normally helps the AI, obviously I’m not sure if that will translate to PC or course play. It is a painfully slow process to paint though using a controller, I must build a new pc at some point.

As someone who grew up 25 mins from here, I can't believe they didn't put much emphasis on more local things such as Star of the West and Bronners (even if just lights off in the distance) overall its neat to see this!

Yeah! was really looking forward to playing map. Picked up all the treasures. Connected all the Autodrive points up, only to be let down when I went to generate a courseplay. Instead of it generating for field 12. It generated for the whole block 12, 13, 14 and 21.

Ngl - I just don't remember a "Frankenmuth" map, and if this is the same, I'm sure I would. That said, WHAT A GEM! Taylor Farms have made some truly good stuff, and it's well-thought-ought, detailed, thorough. Sugar Beet. At last it's getting some love. Plenty of room for the Beet Chopping factory, too. I agree in re the basic sheds - I've been asking if there's a solution, and so far it's The Editor - Sledgehammer to turn a screw, maybe? The paths through the woods might see use as riding trails (horse exercise).

I am not a fan for quadratic maps....to little imagination.....but this map has something else going for it. Clear and vibrant colors,combined with fairly new mod buildings.....seems fun.

Enjoyed the map tour FSG! Map looks great, i really like the country feel to this, the ditches and the houses. Big and medium sized fields, the sheds are super cool. I agree about the static buildings, would be nice to access the different sheds and buildings. We can't have everything! 😂 I wonder if custom geo's will make their return,🙏I will download in the morning and check it out with some coffee.☕

I like the 6-9 meter straight plow thats in the ingame modhub. It says that it requires 320hp for the 9m but you can get away with less

I want to play this map but having problems I have been on the Facebook page but they have no answers disappointing really , I've downloaded it from Facebook link off there page I have had it off here also two different mod sites and still won't work not even recognised by the game. I have put it in my mod folder both zipped and in zipped and nothing as anybody else had this and has a fix please great video as usual.

Yes someone with a FB account can get you the actual file download link, no files are shared on Facebook they will always use a file sharing platform Like MegaNZ or Mediafire so your friend could just send you the link

Michigan was always one of my favorites, so I was excited to get and play this map. Very well done, and I felt at home again. However, as they reported on their FB page, it is not courseplay friendly. I live and breathe CP. He said he would not change it , because that is how he plays it. They are right up there with Dajnet, who makes maps the way they want and not for the masses. I realize you can't please everyone,, but it is a shame I have to go back to crap maps like Ricci or even the Wild West. Wild West is probably really the only option anymore, and it lags so bad.

This is a nice looking map, but my dreams have been crushed. There isn’t a single piece that even remotely resembles Frankenmuth. And no I’m not referring to Main Street, not even the outskirts between Reese, Birch Run or any other area. For comparison, someone could’ve renamed Elm Creek and had the same effect. I’m very confused as to what the map maker was trying to accomplish by making a cookie cutter map and naming it after a real place. Like I stated earlier, the map looks very nice but falsely advertised.

It’s based on a real block of land to the west of Frankenmuth so I’m not sure it’s false advertising, even the owner of the main farm in real life has commented

I know this is 2 years old, but you can easily find this on the map, it's Weiss Centennial farms. Grew up in that area as well and recognized it almost immediately and outside the "downtown" area on the map this is super accurate.

Go and look on street view on Google maps, there is road a small bit of grass and straight into the fields.... so I guess the real life location this map is based on is unnatural too?
