It's really amazing how well this episode held up. Back when it originally aired it was an open secret that everyone knew Kelly did it but still defended him. The jokes in this episode aged so well.

R Kelly did go to court for charges of child cornopgraphy around this time actually, If I remember correctly he just had to pay a fine or pay money to the family or something. That was in the early 2000s. And much like this episode, it was a video of R Kelly Peeing on a young lady. Even before that he had been acussed of sleepy with underage girls early in the 2000s and of course he was in a relationship with Aliyah when she was like 15. So not even really an open secret, more of an oversight. We all looked the other way. We all sung Ignition when it came on. Any many artists who claim to be against sexual assault amd supporters of survivors still collerated with him knowing that he was kinda creepy. Back in the day people use to say everything is fine until the book comes out. Now I guess it's everything is fine until the documentary comes out, because before that documentary. Out folks seemed indifferent to the stuff he was accused of
