Frankford Arsenal X-10 Initial setup and thoughts…..this thing seems like AMAZING value for money. Couple minor issues that were simple to correct. Overall….I love it. Light years better than my red “three letter name” press!

Got mine delivered from Midway USA yesterday, set it up in 2 hours today I'm reloading .357 mag. The price is right , I have my Hornady lock & load for years now and love it but in order to make it easier to reload using case and bullet feeder you have to spend almost 1000 dollars for those features on the Hornady, with the X-10 pricing at $1000 at midway it's more budget friendly than the blue brand which are great machines but a little too much out my reach money wise !

About the feeding and priming issues, did you index it correctly in the beginning?

Love the video. What's the overall height from the base to the top of case feeder? Can't find the measurements anywhere online.

Thanks! I’m not much of a video poster, but this machine is pretty awesome. It seems gigantic for sure. It’s actually 47” from base to the top of case feeder.

Dumb question perhaps, but do you have to prime on the machine? I’ve always used a bench top lee primer.

You don’t “have to” prime on the press. You would have to remove both the swage and prime rods and you’d end up with 4 dead stations (both decap resize positions , swage, and prime). But honestly, this machine swages and primes flawlessly. I’ve loaded probably 5K rounds on this since I got it and only had 2 issues. One tipped primer somehow that jammed the press and one where I wasn’t paying attention and short stroked it and the primer didn’t seat. Prime on the press would be my suggestion if you get one.

Three stations after powder drop? Bullet feed station/option?

Yes! There are 3 threaded spaces for powder check, bullet seat, crimp and a 4th non-threaded that appears to be for the bullet feeder they are developing.
