I love his absurd monologues like the animal entrails one and the dogging one but this one is one of his best serious ones. The dead-pan delivery is hilarious. My favourite ones are probably the Wuhan Penis Factory and the one about working class not giving a fuck about the places they work at. Lots of good ones to pick, though.

I've never understood why people who want brexit think they are more patriotic than the rest of us. How can brexit which makes us weaker & poorer for decades to come be patriotic? How can brexit which would then lead to the break up of the UK/Great Britain be patriotic? How can brexit which leads to fewer opportunities for young people who are already faced with being the 1st generation in decades who will have lower living standard than their parents be patriotic? I can't think of many things more un patriotic than wanting to make the country worse, weaker, poorer, with fewer opportunities for young people and the inevitable break up of the UK.

Genuinely interested to hear what these things are if you don't mind. For myself, I find the concept of nationhood a fairly nebulous notion beyond the idea that we mutually cooperate on a democratic and financial level through voting for those who will govern, taxes etc. to the maintenance of a, hopefully, more equitable society. For the record I would have liked to see us remain in the EU but understand that it was a flawed institution and was perhaps unlikely to have changed much had we not chosen to leave. Whether it will change now or disintegrate is anyone's guess.

Because they've been brainwashed to feel the fuzzie-wuzzies upon exposure to symbols like colourful pieces of cloth or songs about warlords who killed other warlords. But caring about the conditions that affect how much food costs or the price of a house is 'elitist'.

I voted Brexit and could not give a fuck about patriotism or ripping off the rest of humanity for my own personal gain. Personally I brought up my son to have ethics and not to be a greedy selfish son of a bitch that would watch millions suffer for his personal gain. Remainer you will never understand me until you take your head out your arse and finally grasp the universe does not revolve around you or your selfish consumerist materialism. You have no right to destroy a planet or to be a self righteous arse hole.
