One thing, as a man from Lancashire, I am jealous of Scotland's comedians being able to take the piss out of the English without any doubt if it's a legitimate target. As so many English vote Tory I find myself a misanthrope towards my own nation! Fellow northern socialists and rare southern socialists apart! Along with Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr, my two favourite comedians here!

I listen to a lot of Scottish radio including comedy, even tho I don't always understand it. Either the accents, or the references!! But it's always a great atmosphere. Breaking the News. GREAT combination KEVIN & FRANKIE ! (it is nice to see blokes who are actual friends off-camera) [They know actual, real questions/comments to make outside the showbiz world] +++ [Both being comedians who like each other, they understand what is meant as a joke, and can enjoy it the way it was intended.] PS- I would love to see Frankie and Kevin out on a boat catching fish, No 'persona' involved, 0%. Frankie genuinely pleased that he caught a couple fish, bringing them back to Kevin's to fry them up. Would be nice to be a fly on the wall, watching the two of them just having a nice, relaxing day.♪ (NO media or cameras in sight, just having a genuinely pleasant day.) ((They bring me so much joy, I hope they have those days too for themselves.))

He spoke there about Scottish middle classes hating Scottish culture, but then seems to be into different culture's, I wonder about his take today on mass migration. It’s similar in Ireland, I’m from the north side of Dublin, but the posh areas, especially in the south side of Dublin, they’re like that, playing cricket and rugby and just no essence of the country you’re living in, but this is where some of our politicians come from, and the real threat, in my take, are the universities they’re going to, they’re making these idiots, who don’t give a damn about the countries they’re in. And so along come the migrants, and the people who speak up are labelled far right. I think today, Catholics and Protestants should unite, because we’re really the same, not to look down on people of colour, but to stand up to mass migration and the insanity.

I remember thinking Frankie Boyle was hilarious when I was around 13. Now when I watch his stuff (including his old stuff) I can see why I thought that, he appeals to the terrible taste of the average 13-year-old boy. He's really not funny or insightful or intelligent at all. His comedy revolves around shock value, which would be fine if there was actually something substantial backing it up. Unfortunately there really isn't.
