Oh WOW ❤️❤️❤️ Holly stole the show for me that last night of the amazing Forever Young Festival 2019! So privileged to have been there. His voice was perfect! And at the end, I when he'd just sung Power Of Love, he had tears in his eyes 😍. We loved him and he responded to that positive energy! Goosebumps watching it again 😍. Thank you soooo much for posting it. Very special evening captured right there. xx

But it is not Frankie Goes to Hollywood. We are yet to see Holly reunite with the rest of the band. Closest we had was on an episode of Bands Reunited several years ago where Holly refused to perform with the rest of the band.
@ceased2care2 жыл бұрын
If they ever got back together, and created, produced a lavish show for themselves, not tributy, but with the force continuing to rage, and maybe even took it around Europe or further, given everyone was in good enough health, it would go down in history. They're so important. Together, they're more than the sum of their parts. Holly still has a great voice. I'm a bit surprised actually, given the passage of time and the trials he's been through with his health. And even though I'm not one myself, the whole Scouser element is also something. I can't look at Peter Gill without thinking of Te'. And that working class lads fresh from the dole office backstory going on, but with such highness of thought that all those riches came out of it. Welcome to the Pleasuredome was an immense album, and Liverpool, though loved by me and played to death, was unjustly underrated by some, but I think it was only because Pleasuredome was so good. Just look at the amazing tracks, Warriors, Rage Hard, Lunar Bay et al. Both albums contain songwriting as good as any there's ever been, and subjects nobody else has ever touched. Those lyrics are so bang on, even now, I think maybe more so now. But those two albums were it. Can we honestly think of anybody who even comes close today? It's all very special I saw them back in the day and was blown away. And even though I was at Live Aid, I can honestly say that Frankie are the best gig I ever went to And the miracle is that they're all still alive! What a huge world event it would all be

He could have done this performance with the original band. Why does Holly always have to be so hard about the past, because of that push in the back from mark o'toole? What a sad performance.... He sometimes doesn't remember the lyrics of songs he wrote himself? and don't even know what number is coming. How ill prepared can you be. Sad!!

How to look like a has been step one - act like Holly Johnson. Step Two - don't do shows without the original musicians, other wise, it's a karaoke band backing you up. Step Three - refresh the music and vocals for 2022, BTW the visuals are not helping. Stay home Holly, dream about what it was once like.
