FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD RELAX MANCAVE MUSIC REACTIONS

Relax was their first ever single. It was voted the greatest UK number 1 of all time by the British public. Quite an accolade considering the Beatles etc. Two Tribes was their second single and went straight in at number 1 where it stayed for 9 weeks and summer 1984 was the “summer of Frankie”. While Two Tribes was number 1, Relax rose back up the charts to number 2 so Frankie had the top two spots in the UK and “Frankie mania” hit the UK Two Tribes was the better of the 2 songs. An anti war song which was a faster song with a driving baseline. An absolute masterpiece. The video had Ronald Reagan and Konstantin Chernenko fighting in a sand pit surrounded by a baying crown. How wars should be settled! All to Mark O’Tools driving baseline. I’d love you to react to it. It premiered in the UK after midnight and the whole of the UK stayed up to watch it such was the hype surrounding it. If you do react to it you need to rest to the destructo version. And I need to add that Frankie goes to Hollywood’s 3rd single “the power of love” (not a cover song) also got to number 1 and Frankie were the first band since Jerry and the pacemakers to have their 1st 3 singles all reach the top of the charts
