Glad you are doing more of this fabulous group. So many great songs "Silence Is Golden", "Sherry", "Candy Girl", "Ronnie", "Dawn", "Working My Way Back To You", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night)" etc. When Frankie went out on his own in the 70's, he had the hit songs "My Eyes Adored You" & "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". Also he had a hit with the song "Grease" from the movie.

In highschool I met the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. 1972 and we were deeply in love but due to circumstances beyond our control it just couldn't be. Our song was save it for me by the four seasons. In august I was not doing well and I thought my Ife was about over and I heard our song and left a comment about that girl and how much I still loved her and missed her. In September I received a phone call from her I was in shock and she asked me if I wanted to go to our highschools 50th reunion banquet. So I asked her for a date before the banquet. She said yes so I bought her flowers and got a haircut cleaned up bought some new clothes and we went to the best seafood restaurant in town and had a great time. We went to the banquet and as we danced together I saw in her eyes the love I had lost and now we are back together and my life has changed dramatically. We plan to marry next year. I am happier than ever and life with her is more than I ever expected. Thank you for the wonderful work you do for us to see and hear

Deep rabbit hole here ! Franki Valli & the Four Seasons were extremely popular 60, 70s, that great mid sixties sound, brings back so many wonderful memories from my younger years. Next you should react to Sherry, Ragdoll, Walk like a Man , My Eyes Adored You, oh what a night ... just to name a few of their hits

3: 50 it sounds so "real" because back then it was the age of no-frills recording. Tech was really limited-The producers only options were reverb, bass and treble, and only 3 tracks to work with. So how good the record was all depended on the talent of the singers/musicians-What you heard is the same as if you were sitting in the control booth- A very clean/pure sound. Frankie and his guys one of the first inductees to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, and deservedly so. Merry x-mas 2 u , Sarah!
