All I know is that David and Gillian are pretty much soulmates, because they don't look as happy with anybody than when they are with each other. They look at each other as if they're the most amazing thing on earth. So yeah they're so fitted with one another. The real people as well as their characters.

I think it was a case of seeing someone WAY too much. I don't think they ever hated each other. I think they were extremely attracted to each other but they spent every waking moment together. I love my husband and he is my best friend, but after covid I know I need my time to myself.

I know they've touched on this, but they have said that the distance helped them to become even closer. They spent hundreds of hours together, so of course they would be irritated with one another. However, I think while they didn't always like each other, they loved each other.

I think today there is definitely a different level of respect between them and unless they really are faking it for publicity..there is a physical attraction as well. But from what I have seen, read and heard, David was a real jerk during the X files years and I don't think she was any near being in love with him during that time. I think he was the reason there was tension between them.....tension both actors admitted was there.

Researched a lot about them and people close to them have said online said they act like that close its not just for the camera's but you have to go 50/50 cause its the net so I don't know I really don't think people can fake it this much!!! Hell they Beaten the ER show for awards THAT is shocking to me I didn't know!! DD and AG always have the chemistry between one another whether it is on-screen or off-screen. They certainly have more than just a friend attraction and you can tell it. I think the reason why they didn't came out as a real life couple because they are afraid of losing their long-built friendship. They've known each other through the casting of x-file series and they have worked together for like 10 years and they must have grew fond to each other. It is nice to see them that they are so close to each other as they grow old. But hey, if they were meant to be together, they will and it is their fate. We'll never know God's work.

I'm going to sound like a crazy fangirl but I honestly believe their chemistry this night led to something, especially since her and her boyfriend broke up maybe the night before this. I'm sure he was trying to be there for her and things could have led to something else. He wasn't with Tea yet and it honestly makes sense. They hook up, she falls in love, he goes and falls in love with Tea Leoni and then after that they hate each other for years. I can only wish it's true though! xD

I think it'sopposite of that, for the many clips I have seen she was more ino him than she was. Of course thy both were attracted for one another, but she was always very toachy with him, something that you can't seen in here but you could see it on the bloopers and other interviews, she even admited that he exudes sexuality, they've seem to have something when they both were singles, but well it never went out to the public (then he meet Tea Leoni really soon and he married her),the rest is history. You could see on Gillians body language on interviews from 2016 promo for the season 10 of the series how she just stares at him and touch him like she always loved him, I think that she wanted a relationship but for some reason David didn't but he loved her too, just sadly I think not enogh to consolidate a romantic relationship with her, which it's a pitty...I apologize for my bad english, it's not my native tongue.
