Quick wit and theoretical gymnastics are more and more powerful and prevalent in the world we live today especially on social media with said podcasts and whatnots. That’s just one way to put it but as ENTP were not here trying to hold onto powers like other people. Knowing that power holds you just as much as you hold it if not more. @@soundslikesony Regarding human babies, I believe it's due to our complex a human's brain is and how long it takes to fully develop. Plus, our emotional intelligence requires longer maturation timelines. I also think the human gestation period is relatively short in order to allow adult mothers to be more mobile for survival and they have all the necessary body parts and cognition to take care of a child (infant to adulthood) while being mobile. But back to your first point, baby birds cry... a lot and need constant care and feeding. Other mammals with very developed brains also tend to rely on their mothers and ones like orca whales actually stay with their mothers and family for life because their brains have very developed emotional/empathy functions.
@andreas_rr11 ай бұрын
@@SDoesNotKnow as someone who's studying biomedical engineering, i can roughly confirm this to be right. I dont have all the details in mind, but biologically, babies are still massively in development after being birthed, basically like an out-of-womb elongation of pregnancy. I believe though, the main reason for the 9 months of pregnancy is that any longer and there would be, well, size issues. Either way if it interests anyone, there is some kind of study out there looking at the babies pre- and postnatal head size evolution and it's consequences for the species (e.g. more brain development time etc).

To join the "as an INFP" part of the crowd and comment section: I do not think my type the most powerful, nor will I cry for a low position: we're mediators for a reason. A mediator has to be flexible, ready to both take a stand if needed, but be alright to lay low and defend when the situation calls for it. Yeah, if I’m not going after a cause, I’m super soft and hate conflict, but it’s a 180 if my values are threatened. I once read that INFPs can really shock people with their 180s, so that seems to be a pattern and that resonates. INFPs are also very versatile and able to take on traits of other types depending on environment. I wouldn’t put us at the very top, but definitely not a cream puff.

as an infp, i’m always amazed at the amount of unintentional power i seem to have with the people around me. because i’m always so non-confrontational and always try to seek for peace and because i try to always be as nice as i can to people, it has garnered me a lot of generosity from a wide circle of acquaintances and friends. for example, i’m a round dance cuer (it’s like a square dance caller but for ballroom) and i’ve worked with dozens of callers. once, there was a a huge, special dance where there was about ten callers (and i’d worked with over half of them before at various clubs) and i was the only cuer. because i am so easy to get along with and had built up so much good will with these men, when i walked into the dance hall where they’d already set up the tables, i looked at it sadly (because it was in a BAD position for me to do my job and watch the floor) and simply said “oh...” i did not ask them to change it. i didn’t even open my mouth to make any voiced complaints. all i said was “oh...”, and two of them who i worked with frequently noticed and got the attention of some of the others i worked with frequently, and they immediately started removing all of their equipment. when some of the few who didn’t know me started questioning what they were doing, they were very quickly and forcefully informed by the others that the set up was bad for me and they needed to get their stuff so the guys could set the table up how i liked it. i never had to make any complaints, requests, or even show any kind of attitude. my overall demeanor and good working relationships had just built up so much good will and they liked me so much, almost everyone was willing to make me happy... just because. and that kind of thing happens all the time with me. because i’m so nice to people, usually everyone around me will do anything for me without me ever having to ask or complain. that’s pretty darn powerful.

This video is a perfect example of the fact that the True power is the ability to manipulate people's emotions. And in order to do this you gotta be able to control your emotions and it means that you have to know what you want and go after that no matter the cost. And this is the side of INFPs and ISFPs that they don't really show, but for them this determination is their main strength that a lot of people might underestimate, because the main struggle that they face is self-doubt and strong sensitivity to negative emotions, so when they finally figured out a way to get through their struggles they become a force to be reckoned with. Written by an INFP.

I'm an INFP, and I know the whole scene was purely humorous, but if we were to take it seriously, I believe that INFP could easily be placed somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the list. I base this on my own experiences, because I didn't participate much, but when I did, there was no force that could stop me. For exapmle, when I was a 7-year-old, I ended up in a school where one teacher ruled with an iron fist. Everyone feared him - students, even the 15-year-olds, their parents, including mine, other teachers, and even the principal. I know it's messed up, but the whole situation was a bit complicated, and in a different cultural context, so you wouldn't understand... Anyway, for me his worst trait was enjoying tormenting children. Nobody liked him, very few students had the courage to criticize him behind his back, but to his face, I feel like I'm the only one who had that courage. For years, I received extra punishment from him for it, even for defending others from him, but fortunately, one time he went too far, and the issue couldn't be swept under the rug. However, he wasn't fired outright because other teachers vouched for him 😒, but my sacrifice wasn't in vain because he got so scared that he limited himself to teaching only the first three grades (You know, because they won't stand up to him). So I freed another 6 grades from his clutches. This way, children (including myself) had some relief from him, and over the next years, they rebuilt their courage and self-confidence, and a few years later, we united against him. Not only he was expelled from the school, but out of fear, he moved to another province. Don't worry, a collective lawsuit with 1000+ people is already in progress against him. All that achieved by a 10-year-old crybaby 😉 (don't worry I called that myself).

I've once heard in a video about which elements fit MBTI types, that INFPs would be silver, as it's the most reflective element, similar to how INFPs basically hold a mirror in front of who they are talking to. And sometimes, people realising the truth affects them more than we even intend. That's not the only way we are "powerful", but there are definitely a few neat ones if one looks for them. Similar to how trustworthiness is also a great source of power and so on. And, as your story perfectly shows, if there's something we believe in, everyone knows shit's gonna hit the fan soon 😂

@@deepika6227 that’s fair. He kinda does the same with my type, istp, being all stoic and fixing everything all the time. But it’s a skit for a reason i suppose

As an ISFP the whole bit with the crying was hilarious, but i also think that because of that, we are a bit more than just cream puffs. Our tipe is generally pittied for being weak, which causes people to underestimate us, which is also why they are surprised when we actually hold our ground and don't fall apart at the littlest touch. That being said, we are very emotional and can sometimes take things a little too personally 😅 I'll take the cream puff comment as a compliment thank you. I'd rather be known for being sweet and understanding than be feared for my power 😊

We're being feared for the truth building up our sweetness. It's just stunning, how kind and understanding we are, and everyone knowing thats not fake but truly the reality 👼 - INFP

You sound like my mom. She's an ISFP too 😂 I would've ranked ISFP at the bottom just because in my experience they don't listen to anyone's advice and like to learn things through experience which leads to a bunch of oopsies. They're real fun though. Creative too.

@@hidum5779 For an ISFP, it would be about the journey rather than the destination, which would mean that simply taking another person's advice and not taking detours to discover things for themselves would actually be counterproductive to the whole endeavor.

@@JadestonePony As an INTJ, I wouldn't want to be with an ISFP for the self improvement programs especially. I guess they'd fare well in the humanity service domains, like chefs or massage specialists.

As an INTJ female. I agree and liked that no explanation was really needed because we know especially through our actions and what is gained in the conclusion of it all 👍

As an ENFP I can confirm that we are not typically interested in power. However, we are often friends with powerful people, so in the rare instances we need to flex, we can usually phone a friend. For this reason, I would have put us to the side of the top. 😁
@candicem96517 ай бұрын
Yeah, the ENTJ/INTJ's are influenced by us because we speak our truth to them when others won't. How powerful is it not to care about traditional, archaic power structures? :) Note when I find myself caring too much, I'm in my ISTJ shadow but not as well as actual ISTJs do it!

Great video as always, Frank! My favourite are the ones, where the personality types are interacting with eachother, can you make more of them? I think interacting with the type with the same temperament but different middle letters would be very interesting (i.e. INFJ and ISTJ)

Ahaha, as an INFP, I'm glad you were able to show (in the end) how 'powerful' tears can actually be lol. Nothing wrong with being a cream puff, cream puffs can be very irresistible ;) Always love your work!! ❤

It almost feel like a curse being able to read others so well. Like you said we just don’t want to be bothered, but lose patience watching those who can’t, getting caught up. I say way too much it’s not my job to look out for everyone, it’s enough to do for myself. When I’m empty and say I got nothing others just keep looking to me to explain what I see. Ugh
