It depends, cz from my experiences it was too exhausting for me so many times. Not that m extremely introvert but still used to feel drained!! I think it varies or depends on understanding or how much gap is there between two person's introverted or extraverted nature.
@tinaperez73933 жыл бұрын
@@designkolamart8828 True. That's very important. I highly suspect it works for me - that's my preferred combination - because I want to be an extrovert or have that in me somewhere, - I WANT to get out of my shell more than I do on my own. Although I will naturally avoid "people" at all costs, I do enjoy them when I DO mix and I'm energized and happy - my heart is "full" when I do spend time with people I like, love and enjoy. But I definitely feel drained when interacting is work and effort. I'll do it anyway when it's hard but needed, but still. And people I don't enjoy, negative and toxic people, energy vampires, etc? Well, maybe that's another topic entirely as people who aren't good for one are people one needs to try to distance themselves from. So the drained issue - for those that are drained by social interaction, much less any social interaction - that does need awareness of by both parties as a couple and how to best work / live with that. Introverts and extroverts can definitely make great couples because they can provide different strengths and balance each other out. But you definitely have to understand and respect - and LIKE - what makes the other tick and what doesn't. Social and emotional intelligence is needed by both people. Gotta know what each other needs and why, etc. And how each other is needs to work for both people in the couple, etc. And can't be TOO different, gotta complement each other, etc.
@PGOuma3 жыл бұрын
I'm an introvert but appear to be more like an extrovert around people who are introverted than me. Extroverts usually drain and i use them as acquaintances or friends you see every now and then. As a fellow introvert, I can say that this is incredibly accurate. There was a divider that had the schedules on display in the middle of the bus stop and I was on the other side of the divider with my attention focused on where the bus would be. I could not move from where I was standing. It felt like my feet had melded with the concrete. The entire time I am freaking out internally, trying to get myself to talk to her. I try to run more towards what I want-and it is satisfying to make something happen rather than not trying even if it doesn’t go the way I imagined in my head. I think my brain finally got tired of my overthinking because now when I start to overthink, I either get a headache or I feel hot 🧠🔥 and forget to breathe. I don’t like that feeling, so, now, when I catch myself heating up like that, I shake myself out of it, remember to breathe, and place my cold hands on my hot forehead and neck and stop thinking. Then, I push myself off the mental cliff I created and just dive into the situation. Gotta dive in and get what you want to quench the thirst ya know. 🙂

It's funny how we can know that FJ is a real introvert because of the way he plays extroverts x introverts -- the former are far more cartoonish than the latter, I can feel his effort to act extroverted. And I LOVE that vibe, cracks me up LOL

this is legit me , and my crush is also introverted, you can't imagine how awkward it is if we talk that's why most of the time we sit in silence and that is the best thing we could ever do .

ISFP here, and my ENTJ husband literally asked me out on a casual bowling hang before he asked me out on a date. As we bowled he asked me what my 5 year plan was and grilled me on my personal goals (I had none besides getting him to ask me out on an actual date 🤣).

As an extrovert, I wish it were that un-awkward XD the only part I related to was always thinking about when I’d see them next rather than watching from the sidelines. Luckily my introverted husband was brave and persistent :3

im actually an introverted person but i unintentionally i become so extroverted and crave attention so that the person i like can notice me, and as a result, i only regret it because the extroverted me is not cautious at all, i do untolerable things, i mean i say hello to people i don’t know and it gives me sleepless nights about why i did say hello in such a lousy way and i feel like the worst person ever hoping that he didn’t notice me and hopefully never will cause i am getting awkward

Im sure its obvious to a lot of introverts but we always over-analyse things...Sometimes a girl/guy will actually like us, but we end up obsessing on the negative so much that we become oblivious of the hints the person actually gives😂😂...They could be so into us but we end up sabotaging our own chances.😂

This is interesting to watch, because I'm definitely an introvert, but behaviorally I know that's not how to get people to like me. So, with a background in theater and psychology, what ends up happening is I fill all of the silence by blabbing away about nonsense and forget to ask her any questions. Ah, the life on an INTJ with just enough social skills to make everyone (including me) immensely uncomfortable, lol.

"Well, that just happened." *flashbacks to the hundreds of times I said that in my life* *countless awkward situations* *publicly embarrassing myself numerous times by failing misiserbly in P.E.* *dropping all my things while walking down the hallway again* *my bus got in another crash* *I got introvert on a test I took in school when everyone has always told my I'm an extrovert, and I'm still confused about my self more than a month later*
