Wow! The 1950 FBL with the CAC is a true beauty. They all are beautiful coins and I’m glad you are showcasing these as Franklins seem underrated.

Nice start on your slab set. They now make plastic pages for your slabbed coins. If you're like me, I make my own albums using 2x2 and slab pages.

Nice collection and info. I recently started collecting Franklin halves and I’m hooked! Truly a underrated coin with lots of potential. Glad I found your channel 👍

Thanks! Good luck with your collection. I think it’s a great series because you can get really great looking coins for under $50 a lot of times, or if you want to spent $20,000 or more there are coins in the series at that price level as well.

I have a 1954 S ms64 FBL is worth sending it to cac?
@FranklinHalfAddict Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what the value of a cac certified 54-S vs a non certified one is. I also don’t recall what the cost of sending a coin to cac is, but if you think it’s worth it then definitely send it off. CAC certified coins should always be at least slightly more desirable than non certified.

I cant believe "CaC" makes a coin worth more! Its just a second opinion lol. Just hit me up and ill give you my opinion for half the price of NGC and CaC...

Yeah it does seem kind of ridiculous, but John Albanese has a very high reputation in the industry. Also, the grading standards have slipped over the years and sub par coins have made into straight graded holders. Cleaned coins, artificially toned coins and some coins have been receiving higher grades than they should. So John created CAC in order to weed out those “problem” coins. CAC has been the subject of many heated debates over the years, many people live by CAC, many think CAC is the worst thing ever and others don’t really care. I personally like what CAC does but in the end my personal opinion of a coin is what I rely on.

All white coins make the hobby dull imo .
