Franklin Levinson returns for his second visit of the year (2012) to New Horse, Bittles Brook Farm where he conducted a three day Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) Seminar.
The weekend began with this demonstration of natural horsemanship where Franklin discussed his approaches, techniques and philosophy towards partnership with horses. This was a chance for Franklin to share his wealth of knowledge and insight into the world of horses with a new group of people.

This is the greatest way to train any animal. Since beginning my journey into natural horsemanship , I have been able to apply the same principles to our other animals (cats) that we have had for 15 years , and I have to say that it has only made a great relationship even better. Opening of the mind is the key to this principle. Once you close your expectations and work with an open mind , things begin to "magically" happen. Hats off to those who promote this method!

I love how so many people now choose to use natural horsemanship. I have been doing it with my horses since I was about 6 or 4 and I am 11 now and all I can say is that it is te most brilliant wag to train or form a relationship with the horse.

I attended Frank's workshop about a decade ago at Gillian's barn in Makawo, Maui. I was partnered with Mango, a giant bay gelding that was feared for his massive size and ignored for his hard to handle studly behavior around the barn. Post workshop, Mango was embraced& put to work as a show jumper. If I had to sum up the benefits of Frank's workshop, I would say that it built confidence in me and in Mango-confidence that led him on his journey to ride with champions. TY Frank, Gillian and Mango!

I learned something. I know cows and most people don't and it is depressing working out . I also like the restraint gauchos method cause they train wild horses quick. Shock and awe but after you could use these techniques. I am not a horse person but they like me and I understand cow psychology . Good stuff. I ever get a horse it will be trained this way or another method. Safe nice animals .

he also keeps moving his feet....the horse is making the speaker move his feet so the horse sees himself as the leader.

for your pinto get grain and see if she comes or if its easier to get her... reward her when she lets you put the lead rope anywhere near her...for your 14 yr old... try a harder bit and see if that helps..
