Just about every piece of my Mando armor has been covered in Resin. It's just super easy, and makes the print that much more durable as well.

to support the blade, you can use square aluminum tube that goes from the base of the handle to almost the tip of the blade, it would weigh less and possibly be stronger.

Frank, I love your stuff. I found a GREAT ! gold color for you to try. I painted YORU with Dupli-color chrome gold which didn;t look as vibrant as I wanted.
