MK4S is dead, Core One replaces it and seems to be a pretty good competitor to the X1C but Bambu Labs will have something new in Q1 2025 so Core One might get left in the dust soon.

Thank you for the thorough review! I've been in 3D printing since the V400, and have used several brands. I own both the FLSUN V400 and T1Pro. From my experience, FLSUN offers great value for money. The T1Pro has excellent speed and print quality, and it's very stable. It's been working non-stop in my studio since I got it. Just wanted to share my honest thoughts, good machines shouldn't be overlooked.

Love the videos and thanks for the list! I will say you have some weird audio issues in this video. Almost background chatter. Or like you had a retake, and the audio was left in.

Hey Frank, I’m planning on making a small print farm for my company i’m working on what printer would you recommend? Right now my number 1 is the Bambu A1 because the prints all looks great and it sounds really reliable. However, I am worried about investing in printers that I may outgrow build plate wise as the models I plan on printing are already pretty tight fits. Would a Neptune 4 Plus or FLSun 400 be comparable to the A1 in terms of quality?

Just bought a Ender 3 V3 Plus and it's gotten me back into the love of the hobby after going on a break from Printer with my Ender 3 V1 the huge build plate and fast speeds of this printer for only $359 right now on Black Friday Sale has really made me super happy with my purchase and with the crazy build volume I'm loving how much I can print at once.

The bambu p1S is microwave simple to use. If I had to buy a printer for a teenager I'd buy it or 3 of them.. I bought 4 of them to build cosplay stuff for myself and my daughters.

I’ve been playing with the T1 pro as my first printer for about 4 days. I almost pulled the trigger on a P1S. I got the T1 pro on sale when they first came out and only paid $549 Canadian, they covered tax, duty and shipping which is insane. That’s like $20 American 😅. So far it’s been printing perfectly. I printed a beautiful flawless vase with Elegoo rapid pla+ at 800 mms. No ugly spools stuck to the side as the filament is kept inside the closure. It’s also so nice to be able to see the back of the prints with 3 clear panels. It’s an amazing and beautiful machine to watch work. I’m highly recommending this machine and that’s coming from a guy who had no idea how how to print 4 days ago.

After one Bambu, don't want another... Hate the close garden approach of their devices. Network issues, and more. Have Bambu x1c at work and k1 max (with open klipper (K2 on the way). Wouldn't bumbu again.

I've had the V400 for a couple of years and love it, it's definitely worth the price! I paid nearly double that when it released, and still think it's worth it. My next one is between the K2 Plus and the X1C, I'm not sure yet.

You can get that engineering material capability from the P1S with a nozzle and extruder upgrade for $35. "But I don't want to make upgrades!". You'll need to do nozzle and gear upgrades at some point for maintenance anyways. So don't think as an upgrade, think of it as out of box maintenance.

Frank! - Just wanted to say thanks! Your videos have been incredibly helpful! - I ended up selling a fair bit of my crypto so that I could pull the trigger on a Bambu P1S! And after a few small / mid range prints I couldn’t be any happier. I hmmd and hawd over creality, and qudi but in the end went with Bambu! Also side note to any fellow Canadians, I ordered the P1S and had it within 3 business days!

Although I give this review first and then go check on my print which just finished and was a filament catcher for the back that kinda wraps around the corner and I had significant bowing at the bottom. :( Not sure if I had an incorrect print setting or speed but was a little sad to see this. Have you encountered any bowing frank? Anything I can do in the future to remedy this ?

Comparing Bambu and Prusa is like comparing PC and Apple, or Android and Apple. One is not better than the other, but one is for people who prefer plug and play with a nice suite, while the other is for people who like to dig in, figure how it works, and tinker a bit. I like Bambu machines, but I like how My MK3 became my MK3S, then MK3S+, and now MK4S. ...and next Core One.

Hey Frank. Always love these videos as your input is more than valued. Question: how come you never talk about the FLASHFORGE brand? Just bought the adventurer 5m a couple weeks ago and it has been awesome for a core xy printer. Slightly smaller than the P1S but a couple hundred bucks cheaper. Did you have a bad experience or just never a printer you dove into?
