I absolutely love getting to see their natural habitat! All of the different plant, insect, fish, arachnid, frog, shrimp, and crab species are so interesting. I feel like these wetlands are underappreciated for their beauty and biodiversity. Thank you for all your hard work in conservation and raising awareness! Wild bettas are just so beautiful and unique.

I came to know Frank and his conservation efforts since a couple of years back, and I was convinced that he was doing good to the environment and especially for the preservation of the pure wild betta line, which had been endangered due to the extensive cross breeding done by the ornamental fish industry. One strong appeal of Frank’s project is that he does not only manage to preserve the wild betta lines, but also produces specimens with excellent qualities, as you can readily appreciate from his social media pages. These are some major reasons why I’d always love to keep wild bettas, and especially those coming out of Frank’s project. Thank you Frank! Keep up the good work mate. :)

I love seeing wild betta species in their natural habitat. Usually they are so inbred that they have many health issues. I appreciate you for your conservation efforts; breeding within the same species and keeping the bloodline strong. In my opinion, wild bettas look better than the one’s you would see in a commercial pet store. The coloration on these guys are awesome!

I absolutely love these videos, the conservation efforts you put into these fish is truly inspirational, its got me interested in endangered species in my local area and the conservation efforts put forward by my municipality. You are truly an amazing human being with the care you give for these small fish where governments etc just care about expansion and $$$. Thank you for everything you do for Bettas and the aquatic community.

Thank you for the work you do for the bettas with the conservations. I recently bought my first wild bettas Imbellis 2 males and 3 females and by far the healthiest bettas I got. I’ve been keeping bettas splendid for about 5 years now but I am definitely leaning towards wild bettas more now. By the way the wild ones I got from Frank, breed with in a week of being in their tank both pairs. For the give away I would simply like to add to my family of bettas and keep caring for them as they provide me with joy. It’s my form of therapy.
