I cried at the end. Ballas starts a rumor about Franky being gay, fights Franky, and ignores him. Franky forgives Ballas, fixes his bike, and moves on. Ballas ruined his friendship for nothing.

When Franky returned to school and confronted Ballas, is that what he was doing? Telling Ballas he doesn't want anything from him and he's moving on with life? But was he offering Ballas a chance to say something? Cause he just said "nothing" too, but it was obvious that's not how he felt.

I’m glad Frankie found peace in the end but he literally went through hell to get there. The irony in this is Ballas tried to ruin Franky because he’s a coward but in the end, Franky came out more sure of himself than ever and with a better relationship with his father. Ballas on the other hand… an assault charge and a relationship with his gf that is not destined to last. Oh… and he lost the type of friend that can never be replaced. I’d love to see a sequel to this that explains their relationship after high school. Curious to know if they’ll ever reconcile or not.

What gets me the most mad is that through everything that happened, Ballas NEVER apologized for lying to everyone about Frankie, beating him up, and making him seem like an outcast. He was NEVER his friend. Frankie did everything he could to try to support Ballas but Ballas was just a selfish narcissistic coward( and a terrible brother to his sister). I’m glad Frankie found peace in the end. Ballas NEVER deserved him.

I’m assuming the end, is franky accepting that he is not the problem and it’s OK for him to release himself from this toxic friendship
