I usually don't comment on youtube videos, but this one deserves it. At some point I give up using the DG EMG pickups, I couldn't handle them, didn't understand them, but after seeing this video, I took the guitar, put them back in, and give them one more chance again. For my surprise, using this video as a guideline, now they are sounding great, thanks for sharing.

Hi Francesco. Thank you soo much for sharing your knowledge. I'm a big fan of Gilmour, but it's very hard to get his sound, and you get it absolutly, thanks to your pedal board, but also your playing, very close to David's style. Congratulation, and thanks again. I will try it at home ;-)

You’ve done a fantastic job. Read below someone critiqued your “timing” I did not notice anything but superb playing and spot on tone. Thx for sharing and look forward to hearing you tone sculpt and play DSOT ver of TIME solo. 👍👍 Great Job! R, mike

Often folks trying to cop gilmour they end up having massive issues with both timing and bends (and use too much gain and compression). You’re playing is very good. Tone is not quite there, turns into mush. Gilmour is cascading many pedals and yet his tone remains open. That’s one thing he’s brilliant at, also hitting mostly right notes. And it did help his career being in a band with brilliant lyricist and composer.

Very good playing and tone 👍 Just an advice on the Sorrow intro though, The Sorrow intro is not played on only one finger/sting, it's played with two fingers one on the A sting and another one on the G string, same note one octave up. Right hand, using the pick for the A sting and the middle finger for the G string... 😉
