I bought this to build with my mother, she and my dad had a BJ40 in the late 80s/early 90s. I didn't even realise it had lights and motorised winch when i bought it, so i'm not sure if they are included. Great demonstration video!

@ I have checked now and sadly there are no LEDs in my set, I will contact the seller and ask them about it.

@@DreamOf944 I am not sure if it is a standard part of the set. I got it in my order, but maybe it was a bonus from seller. I think manual doesnt contain steps for led-lights. But contact seller is the best way to get more informations.

It will definitely work, these sets are mostly made so that the engines can be added without major disassembly - the model is even more fun with the engines :)

This looks excellent. I have a strange problem when I assembled this kit: (a) The front and back wheels are turning in opposite directions in both gears! and (b) the steering wheel turns when I activate the servo but the wheels are not turning!! In neutral gear the 6 pistons are moving beautifully. Please help! This model looks so good but these are show stopper problems.

If the axles rotate against each other, the problem may be in the location of the differential (one needs to be turned).

@ Thank you so much for taking your time to reply. That was indeed the problem and once I turned one of the differentials it works fine. I still have a problem with the steering which was not working. Once I installed the steering link it works but not too well. One direction steers better than other. A rack and pinion would have been ideal but this design does not have that. The rack is non-functional!!

docela povedený model.jaká je kvalita součástek?

Velice pěkný model, vše bez závad - dobré převody, panely, i piny docela ujdou (u čínských sad bývají zpravidla tužší a špatně se vyndávají). Dálkové ovládání funguje dobře. Trochu problematické je přední řízení - upravil jsem nápravu aby byl úhel zatáčení větší (viz video). Jinak ale vše v pořádku, krásný model za rozumnou cenu.

Does the non-rc version have hand of god steering?

I am not sure but I think it has no hand of god steering. I looked into the instructions, there are two versions for right side (with or without servo), but the only connection is to the steering wheel. However I think it shall be no problem to modified and add the second steering/gear wheel.

Ahoj, dziękuję ze ten test Franciszku! Very interesting model! Do you know if there is anything even better of road by this brick producer, perhaps something witch a diff lock? (I wonder if the upcoming Lego Zetros will have them :))

Thanks for the comment. This producer has many other nice sets, however I am not sure if there is some with differential lock. BUt very nice set is also YC-QC017, XQ1211 or XQ1212. But I think these are also without differential lock (I have not tested yet).

This brand (Happy Build) or CaDA, Mould King, MoYu have very good quality. Fully compatible and comparatible with Lego.

Moc hezký model! Prosím Vás, jaká je výška podvozku? Zvládne model přejet práh v bytě na rychlejší, ovšem slabší převod? Výška prahu cca 25-30mm.

Práh jsem nezkoušel, myslím, že na "jedničku" práh přejeden, dvojka je celkem slabá, ale o to rychlejší. Nicméně na konci tohoto videa je offroadový test - zvládne toho opravdu hodně. Světlá výška mezi nápravami je kolem čtyř centimetrů, mezi koly přední nápravy asi dva centimetry.

I have no experience with the NIFELIZ brand, but the kit seems to be identical to this one. Anyway, the Happy Build kits are good quality (I don't know what the price difference is).

Я определенно рекомендую. Красивый комплект, очень хорошего качества. Только переднее рулевое управление можно немного отрегулировать, но ничего особенного не нужно.

No já bych si tenhle model ani nekoupil protože má slabý motor, ale kdyby měl na jízdu 1 xl motor tak bych o tom uvažoval.

Vždy je co zlepšovat, ale i se dvěma L-motory dokáže zdolávat i náročnější terén. Každopádně velice hezké auto.

You have to search for sellers which sell also with box. Quality is very good, no short-shots or missing parts. Maybe tires can better hold on the rims. But really very nice set. I made small modification with the hood, by the way instructions are also good, no misstakes or illogical steps. So I can recommend. And thanks for the comment :)
