@@amaracea i think take me out is the easiest for you to remember the lyrics, so that is why it is the most popular. It is the most "easy to sing" song for Franz Ferdinand. I really like fresh strawberries, no you girls, walk away, and even i find it hard to remember the lyrics and sing the song. But this is just a personal opinion though. No mean to disrespect #peace

Rock Videos I'd guess that they didn't want to be celebrities - just artists. Plus they were micromanaged to death by the media & other powers during the time of the 2nd & 3rd albums, since they couldn't rise as high as Beyoncé by being a brand. Alex' feud with Liam & Noel Gallagher also didn't help matters - I wonder if that was all Lexxo's doing out of jealousy & insecurity? Does Alex regret it, or doesn't he care anymore? Meanwhile, Noel & Dave Grohl have been making friends with everyone who's had plenty of musical success; very few of those people only want to hang out with A & B listers. Matt Bellamy has been among those crowned princes, especially thanks to fawning peers like Bruce Springsteen By the way: check out FFS' music. Hope you can appreciate it.

Very symbolic and esoteric; a video Franz would definitely make. It seems that their music and videos are becoming more and more complex as the band continues, straying from their earlier lively and energetic productions. Nevertheless, an interesting and intriguing video. Btw, if anyone cares to know what this video (perhaps) means, I think that the song, as metaphorical as it is, is sort of self-explanatory in it's theme, and that this video exemplifies this theme just the same. The song and this video especially, show how people in the world are just living their lives day by day, with feelings of dissatisfaction and a lack of accomplishment; however, they continue their unhappy lives without changing them until the point when they eventually die, as shown at the end of this video.
