How do you know, that it is so great? But to do this takes so much time which I just dont have right now. And I am engaged more in the early Romantic era (like the unfinished 6th symphony by Mendelssohn ...)

The fugue could be a little slower. Not as majestic as the other real performance recording.

I do not agree. The fugue in the live recording I find very boring, much too slow...

@@gerdprengel7616 I'm with Gerd on this one; Lachner needs a brisk pace in most cases. And anyhow, it's not the most compelling fugato in the world, if I'm honest.

also agree, it needs to be played quickly
