Although I think this whole set is superb, here are my favorites. Which ones are yours? 0:00 Auf Geheimen Waldespfaden, Op.2, No.1 7:03 Auf Dem Teich, Op.2, No.5 9:10 Der Schalk, Op.3, No.1 (the best one?) 14:30 Der Bote, Op.8, No.1

The same are mine, especially "Der Schalk", and its next. But you should write who is playing. I bet here is Leslie Howard. The recordings on these pieces are very few, personally I know only two - L. Howard's is one of them...

@@kmp5332 I only know two recordings of these pieces as well, the second one being by Valerie Tryon. I mentioned her at the bottom of the description.

@@eriksatieofficiel Yes, you are right, I check it. Leslie Howard was probably the first who record these, in a double CD, at mid '90s I have over ten years to play it. This is a wonderful and unknown collection of transcriptions. The same is with S531 & S535 - but the last years the situation has been improved. We are tired to hear all to play Chopin nocturnes. The two book of poesies S531 & S535 (and some of the here transcriptions) are of equal or superior musical interest and artistry, and I wonder so many years now why they are ignored by the soloists....

Where did you get the music sheets? Can't find them on IMSLP. Really would love to play 'Auf dem Teich'.

After coming from Leslie Howard’s recordings, this recording is pretty disappointing. Where’s the voice!
