I'm 175, and I will say this. Shorter players have more mobility and flexibility, even reaction time when it comes to volleyball or in general. Their explosiveness on the court is also better than taller players due to how compact their build is compare to a 6 foot something guy who have to use effort to move his entire body. For the people who is short out there, keep on training every aspects of the game. Dont just think jumping high is all volleyball is about

Try plyometric training to increase your jump height and also leg strengthening

I’m 16 170cm can reach to 315 Leg muscle is important but I got 15cm higher when I worked on my back muscle so I recommend doing that too!

i'm not a volleyball athlete and 17 5'4-5'5 ish i haven't measured in a while but i'm planning on trying the sport and in my opinion you should keep going, in my country they say if you can jump you can compete but ofc height matters but still keep trying man atleast that what i think you should do but it all falls on you to decide
