Did a rear diff on a rental land cruiser 8 years ago on Fraser while in Aus for a month from Canada with some buddies. Have some amazing memories of that place sleeping on the beach under the stars... Oh and the diff was buggered before we ever got off the ferry, just put the last few nails in its coffin.

Great shake down trip boys, Fraser Island never gets old and this trip just shows how each time ya see something new or old that looks new again even the views and the dingos, yacht etc. Great looking convoy and crew by the looks and my Little Pony never gets old either and she’s a classic just like Jocks favourite TV show he watched as a nipper, with the same name 🤣 Shauno 80s flow through my veins, but that DT30 is like Jocko said so well, a work of art, loved the build series, but seeing it out on Fraser was pretty sic, I hope ya gonna give Sooty a bit of love over the down time while DT30 gets the glory on the tracks, maybe EG swap a 1HD-FTE, into her, keep the MT though, ya gone soft in the DT30, but I understand, she’s an older girl and needs some extra tech 🤪(but got to keep something visceral and old school when men were men for the 80, she doesn’t need that stuff ). Anyways the DT30 and everything ya built out on her is pretty amazing, that new Drifta RTT, I have my eye on now too, and love that short canopy need more on those guys. Lastly having had 2 new N70 D4Ds myself Kaino’s N70 really is starting to make me want another, imo the last of the true Hilux before all the SUV car and tech, turned them into mall crawlers and as good as company in the convoys usually makes them newer models just can’t beat the N70, the 3.0 TD was a real engine, can’t beat cubes, just say it out loud, 2.8 doh, 3.0 Turbo D oh yeah! other than previous gens and my little pony Hilux’s they led the way, you guys said it right they don’t make em like they used too even Toyota! Thanks Kaino, 😂 I might have to track down a good 2010-14 N70 SR ( not an SR5) and do a Kaino on her! Credit where it is due, he’s got that rig pretty much spot on imo, for a young dude, I give him props for his taste, knowledge on building a proper truck out of that N70. Cheers and beers oh btw , we’d call that a stew, not soup! chicken stew and I could smell it from here, the Rock would be proud of that recipe! Awesome episode boys good to see ya back out where they belong getting down and dirte on the trails! not the shed...! happy trails, can’t wait to next Thursday, beers are on ice till then. 👻🤘

Me and and my family were lucky enough to meet shauno and jock and see the dirty 30 in person at Indian head the day before we went to sandy cape for the very first time where we met roothy and gleno and my 14 yr old brother caught a GT right on the tip where the waves break into each other on just 6 pound line.
